The room was lovely and given the heatwave the aircon worked well. Beds comfortable, pool area and breakfast area were lovely. Fellow who checked us in was great, SO helpful.
Asked to stay in room for an extra hour to check out at midday instead of 11am. Our train to Paris had been cancelled due to the heatwave and we had to book a very late flight from Bordeaux so that extra hour would have made a big difference to our day. I haven't asked this of a hotel for years. It was a flat no with a "oh but we will store your bags for an hour if you like" as if that was a huge benefit. Frankly I think most hotels would store bags for guests!
Breakfast very poor
The pool and the air con were important and enjoyable. But the pool should have been open for pre-breakfast swimming. It opened only at 10am. This should change.
The breakfast was overpriced. Tiny little croissants were offered (about 7 cms long). Other pastries were also small. The coffee was so-so.
At five to ten we were warned that breakfast would end at 10h00. At exactly 10h00 all the remaining breakfast food was removed. Hello? Hello? Are we in the army or are we on holiday, I thought.

Pas de douche, baignoire très haute .
Il a fallu réclamer du gel douche, il y a même pas frigo malgré les fortes chaleurs. Pas de peignoir pour la piscine , il faut demander des serviettes qui sont peu agréable. Déçu cher pour 2 nuits.
