Pros:

Un accueil au top, des gens simples et généreux...un petit déjeuner de rêve et le tout avec un emplacement idéal.
On a juste envie d'y retourner en fin d'été pour tester la piscine que nous n'avons pas pu essayer !!
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!!!

Outstanding and pleasant staff
Pros:

The hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is great very close to attractions castle, bazar and Cold War tunnel.

Hightly recommended family run hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Nice small family run hotel. When we arrived we were given a choice of rooms - all were nice with some larger than others and some with views and others without. The one we chose was a very decent size with a very good large bed. Room and bathroom were spotless. Very nice shower!

Breakfast was very good - good selection and nice coffee!

Parking was on street directly outside the hotel. When we arrived they had "reserved" a parking space for us with a traffic cone.

Location is excellent, just below the Castle and right next to the Bazaar with loads of shops, bars and restaurants.

Cons:

Pay attention to the diriving instrucitons provided by the owners. We used Google Maps on our first day and this brought us up some very steep cobbled roads right through the old town - definitely not the best way :-) The route recommended by the owners was much better (still a little narrow in places, but definitely better than through the old town).

The rooms are distributed across several buildings and some of these have a lot of steps leading up to them.

Gastvrijheid en ontvangst. Eigenaar helpt je bij parkeren. Prachtige lokatie mooi uitzicht kamer 1 met balkon. 2min lopend van oldtown/bazaar. Tip: Navigeer "Cold War Tunnel" daarna 400 rechtdoor.

Pros:

Top Lage in der Nähe der Burg und der Basarstrasse aber dennoch sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Anfahrt ist schwierig (wenn man Google folgt). Der Inhaber schickt vorab per whats app detaillierte Anfahrtsinformationen, die man nutzen sollte. Damit ist das dann kein Problem.

Cons:

Nichts zu bemängeln.

Heerlijke lokatie dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden
Pros:

Geweldige lokatie om de hoek van de bazaar en alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Kamers zijn goed verzorgd, schoon. Tuin om in te zitten en zonnen. Zwembad opent 1 mei. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt en behulpzame gastheer en dame.

Cons:

Het is wat lastig vinden- rijd om het kasteel heen- je hoeft niet over hobbelige wegen.

Top locatie
Pros:

Hele mooie locatie, vriendelijke ontvangst en service. Echt een aanrader als je Gjirokaster bezoekt. In het centrum dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden. Helaas was het zwembad nog niet geopend, dan hadden we wellicht nog een dag bijgeboekt. Ontbijt was ook super. Voor een gezin met kinderen wellicht te uitgebreid. Maar dat is eigenlijk een compliment.
Tip: bezoek de obelisk bij zonsondergang

Great location/place/value.
Pros:

Lovely room in an old house, recently renovated. Very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was within a short walk of everything to see. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Lovely hotel for visiting the castle and old town
Pros:

I found the breakfast outstanding: eggs and pastries and cakes and fruit all brought to the table. I loved the wooden furniture and wood panel ceiling, and the bed was comfortable and the room warm. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from both the old town below and the castle above.

Cons:

Nothing - this was all we could have wanted in a hotel in Gjirokaster.
