Don't go to Corsica, especially in the off-season
Pros:

I didn't like much about the hotel, the staff, the effort to engage, otherwise anything else.
I had asked a month in advance to alter the dates of the booking, that request was refused in lieu of some bull about a free meal, none of which materialized.
In fairness, apart from the scenery and landscape, there wasn't much to like about Corsica either, in October. Every tourist attraction was closed, people were rude and unhelpful (typical french). I get the feeling Corsica is reserved for french people on holidays, otherwise they don't want to know
