Great location , beautiful gardens, good parking
Very creaky/squeaky bed . Looked nice but not so practical but overall was a great stay
Love the hotel itself and the staff there. Always so accommodating this is our second stay there in the last year. Beds are so comfortable, love the doorstop animal that appears in all of the rooms. Walk in shower is exceptional proper rainfall one, and decent size towels instead of them being the size of a postage stamp.
Can't honestly think of any dislikes..
The pub garden with the sun was lovely, staff friendly and it was clean.
It was too hot, we had multiple fans in our room and it was still too hot. On the top floors of the hotel, they need aircon.
Incredible little find, marvalous georgian style hotel, lovely food, and a great relaxed pub and garden to chill and watch the world go by. Definately worth a revisit.

Perfect location. Beautiful old hotel with all the mod cons.
Loved location, looked charming, cute town. Nice spacious room on 2nd floor.
Our room was very very hot. It did have a fan but we struggled with the heat.
We also didn’t think room was as clean as we would have liked. Linen etc was good but the bathroom floors and shower were not clean, dusty skirting boards etc.
Friendly and conveniently placed. Plenty of parking.
Food service was good
Room was comfortable but WiFi wouldn't connect and it is a poor 5G reception area - not the hotels fault
Me and my colleagues met up for Lunch which we tend to do At the crow in Blandford as it half way for everyone when we where all settled the waitress Christina Took are order as one of my friends had a nut allergy Christina was very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us We all had a fabulous lunch thank you Christina and the team❤️
The attention to detail was exceptional, I couldn't help but relax and refresh myself as too did my partner and my little dog who was made to feel equally welcome. The crown hotel is now my little utopia and i look forward to staying there again.
There was nothing to dislike.
