Pros:

The location is secluded and in the countryside, with sufficient parking.
The couple of staff members who I initially spoke to at check-in and in the evening regarding issues were very nice and spoke good english.
The rooms are rather spacious

Cons:

The first room I was in - the one I originally booked - had multiple issues with it. There were no towels or additional duvets (though the rooms have double beds, only a single pillow and duvet is given if booking as one person). There were no towels. There was a bin that and not been emptied and was full of rotting food.
Following attempts to address some of these issues I was changed to a second room which did have towels and spare duvets, so it appears my room had just not been prepared properly at all.
The second room I was in was on it's own floor with only 2 rooms in the floor below. Despite this, for reasons unknown, someone attempted to enter my room at around 00:30 on the first night, and appeared to have keycwrd access. They did not fully open the door, and staff were unsure what happened when asked at check out.
Also, on the second day of my stay, I was taking some time to prepare before leaving. All of the rooms have doorbells to ask guests if staff can enter. Despite this, at just past 11am, a member of staff opened the door to my room without knocking or ringing the doorbell, and this was while I was in the bathroom. Needless to say, these experiences made the room feel unsafe at times, and it is the first time I have ever felt required to block my door at night to prevent people from opening it (there is no deadbolt on the inside)
Finally, the hotel appear to have suggested in person that smoke alarms are not required in the rooms themselves as they have a certain building plan, but this seems to run counter to national guidance, and in general is rather strange. At the very least I believe guests should be aware there are no fire or carbon monoxide alarms in rooms as this is fairly standard these days

Prima voor 1 nacht, zeer dichtbij wandelroutes!
Pros:

Het hotel is mooi gelegen, en de kamer was ruim met keuken en balkon. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Cons:

De keuken had geen keukengerei. De WC spoelde niet goed door.

Engagiertes Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Toller Biergarten in sehr schöner Lage.

Cons:

Leider war unser gebuchtes Zimmer bereits anderweitig belegt.
Wir wurden mit einer Flasche Wein und einem Entschuldigungs schreiben entschädigt.
Etwas später haben ein anderes, fast gleichwertiges Zimmer erhalten, mit dem wir dann auch zufrieden waren.
Auf die Verwirrung beim einchecken, hätten wir natürlich gerne verzichtet.

Even bezoek met een nasmaak

De locative, mooi landelijk gelegen

Cons:

Wij kwamen hier voor de 3e keer. Het lijkt erop dat het hotel een aflopende zaak is. Beperkte openingstijden receptie en biergarden, ook was een ontbijt afnemen niet mogelijk ivm personeelstekort. Tijdens ons verblijf is onze hond door de buurhond aangevallen waardoor wij naar de dierenkliniek moesten en ons verblijf vroegtijdig hebben moeten afbreken. Het meisje dat het hotel runde was aardig maar eigenlijk te druk om daadwerkelijk betrokken te zijn. Weinig ondersteuning ondervonden. Ook naderhand geen check of het in order was. Jammer voor een familiehotel waar je voor de 3e keer komt.
