Please note that the hotel is scheduled to undergo roof and façade renovations from 9 September 2026 until the end of the year. During this time, room and balcony views will be limited, and some daytime noise is to be expected. As a small thank you for our guests’ flexibility and understanding, a 20% discounted rate (Basic Deal) is being offered for this period instead of standard rates, and these special prices are already displayed online.

Awesome staff and incredible views.
Pros:

The staff was the friendliest and most helpful that we met on our entire 10-day trip. The balcony room we had facing the waterfall had to have the best view of any room in town. It was unbelievable and very much worth paying a little extra.

Quaint stay, in quiet city, with friendly staff, close to pretty waterfalls
Pros:

Convenient location: 10-15 min walk from train station to hotel. Very close to Staubbach Falls, and you actually get a pretty view from the breakfast room at the hotel. Rooms were reasonably sized, typical for European hotel. We booked a family room for 3 people, so the rooms were adjoining and shared a bathroom. Breakfast was lovely, with a variety of options: coffee, tea, juice, eggs, meat, cheese, bread, yogurt, and cereal. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. They offered recommendations for food, as there is no on-site dinner option. However, there is a picnic room, if you want to bring food back and eat it at the hotel. There were also some indoor and outdoor lounge areas, which I found to be tranquil.

Cons:

Honestly, nothing.

The beautiful view, excellent location, friendly and very accommodating staff, the rooms were very clean, breakfast was great. All in all I would stay here again and again. very deserving g of its high rating, which is why we chose it in the first place.
