A great place to stay
Pros:

The room was wonderful. A very comfy bed, great views. The food was great. The staff were very friendly. It was a very short distance to the lake and a great walk round.

Cons:

Couldn't open the kettle to get the water in easily. Had to use the spout with difficulty

Whilst location is a quiet area is is a beautiful location and ideal for a short stop off.

Awful
Pros:

The staff were very kind and helpful. Very good prompt service.

Cons:

The big problem we had with this hotel was it became too loud in the night . It’s situated opposite the lake parking and drunk people in car blasting their music loud and dancing and drinking into midnight. It was a warm day so couldn’t close the windows as well . Me and my son had a very long day and couldn’t sleep that night because of this nuisance from outside . Eventually we had to sleep with windows closed and burn inside . The hotel staff did nothing to stop this . There isn’t even a telephone in the room to call reception. So we had to just suck it up .

We will not be coming back.
Pros:

The room was near to the venue where our party was taking place.
The en suite was very small but also very clean.

Cons:

If we had known that there would be a night club playing extremely loud music until 2 am below our room we would not have stayed there. We were told that it was a restaurant. We expected it to close at about 10.30pm. We were not told that there was a late licence.

Fair.
Pros:

Room was light and airy. View of Lake, but obscured by derelict buildings.
It was ok for being in transit, and just one night

Cons:

Bathroom tiny and dark. Lighting too dim to use mirror properly. No hair dryer..had to ask. Shortage of towels. One medium one each. Asked for more but told unavailable! Parking scary. Trapped in all evening.

Pros:

Me and my mum stayed for 1 night. Staff were lovely and the beds were so comfy. We got some food which was delicious! We took are dogs and there's loads of good places for walks. The lake is lovely, my dog (black lab) obviously had a swim 🙂 will definitely be back. Thankyou

Cons:

There was nothing we didnt like. Only thing was we could have done with a fan in the room with the hot weather but we didn't ask for one and im sure they would have gave one if we did ask.

Truly awful no sleep but due to drunk people rather than anything else. Door out so stiff I fell over to the floor leavi

It’s in a lovely location and the room was fine.shower loo bed ok lots of tea and coffee thank you x

Cons:

However a few massive issues for me.
The car park is a nightmare full of cats blocking each other: stressful. Do not use it’s just not practical your car will get damaged or blocked in.

The staff seemed lovely. However its rooms above a bar / restaurant. Very noisy. Both nights I had drunk people shouting arguing in the hall: next to no sleep last night, no one to inform or get help from so had no sleep until 3.30 am … extremely difficult to sleep due to drunk arguing folk and no staff to help

Staff excellent accommodation served it’s purpose
Pros:

Location and convenience for what I needed staff really helpful

Cons:

Needs a deep clean carpet under bed shoes just how dirty the rest of carpet is. Bathroom very small. Quite noisy in a morning with other residents leaving early

Cons:

Dripping shower kept us awake the pump was not working kept going off..And a little noisy on the front, when bar closed.

Pros:

Room was nice, staff friendly, location great.

Cons:

Let down by the car park, someone parked right in the middle of the car park overnight, meaning i had to reverse through an obstacle course of cars when i was in a rush in the morning.
