Nothing it was fantastic

The mattress on the bed could be better and a small leak from the shower needs sealing.

The sink blocked on me because n the morning

Food and room was small

We were told on arrival that there would be a party on till 1am. We were fine with this as we’d read the reviews. However the party went on until past 2am with extremely loud thumping music that made our room shake. There was still music playing at 4am. There was also a man having an argument with a staff member on the corridor extremely loudly including swearing at 2am. The room was fine but very shabby, no mirror apart from in the bathroom so stood a few feet away to dry hair etc as needed to be near a plug. Generally very disappointed. Tried to find someone to speak to when checking out but only cleaning staff were there. No check out instructions were actually given either so I had to leave the room key with the cleaner not knowing if that was the right thing to do.

Light in the bathroom kept turning on at night, freaking me out :D Probably moving tree branches outside triggered the sensor...

All went well

Friday night,Saturday morning music banging til 1am.saturday night till 3 am Sunday morning seme again only louder.

The venue itself is advertised as a restaurant and rooms seems to be misleading from our experience. The night we stayed was the Sunday before Christmas. Not being from the area and just travelling to see friends who live nearby we didn’t know what to expect. We just saw it was a restaurant with rooms. However, after visiting friends, the venue was setting up for a Bongos bingo night and was particularly busy. As the ‘restaurant’ seemed full, we went elsewhere for food and got back about 10pm with the night in full swing. We are quite tolerant and thought although a Sunday it is before Christmas and will likely be finishing in the next few hours with it being a restaurant and a Sunday night which we could cope with and weren’t too bothered about so thought we’d stick it out. The bingo carried on until after 12 as our room was directly above we could hear everything. I thought about going down at that point but I didn’t fancy getting bood out by the drag queen and a room full of people who’d had a few drinks so thought better of it. Finally when we thought it was over at around 12:30 the venue then turned into a cheesy club night. Our room was right above all the goings on and the bass and speakers were physically shaking the bed and we could not sleep (we do have videos of this). The music seemed to stop after 2am and then hoards of people were shouting at each other as they left until around 4am which was right outside our room and the venue below packing and clearing everything away moving tables and chairs around which went on until 5am. This event was not advertised except on there Facebook which we found afterwards. I was going to question the venues liscencing hours seeing as it is not advertised as a late night bar. When we let the staff know in the morning, there wasn’t really a response.
