Nice location.
Poor breakfast.
Rude dinner staff.
Change of menu with no warning.
Could no longer use garage.
Very dated.
Goed eten in restaurant
niets
The staff the food were excellent, authentic but tired
Prijs/kwaliteit is goed.
PARKING: openair: few spots in their private backyard, located behind an arch next to the restaurant building. No gate, but looked safe.
CHECK-IN: ok, but don't come at dinner time, staff might be just busy in the kitchen and not present at the hotel desk.
STAFF: nice and friendly, all young people, almost student-age.
WIFI/VPN: work, no issue.
SIZE: huge, the room was very large and could accomodate a family for multiple days.
STYLE: refurbished and renewed. Woody interior with a nice touch of country-side effect.
POWER WHEN YOU LEAVE: stays on, you have a regular physical key.
CLEAN: very much.
BATHROOM: large and comfortable shower size, but the toilet is a separate box. Might help if you come with other people, might annoy to have to cross the room to pick up something in the other bath-area.
QUIET: yes, very much. Just the very little traffic of the village, if you need to keep window open for ventilation. And the morning rooster howl, which I liked.
LOCATION: nice village to move around the area or stop on the way.
SERVICES AROUND: not many, few bakeries, but didn't check as I came late.
VALUE FOR THE MONEY: ok-ish. It's a nice clean spacious place. Still a bit overpriced in my opinion, given the total lack of any direct attraction in walking distance.
RESTAURANT IN WALKING DISTANCE: the hotel has a great one. I saw one more open in the village, which looked also nice, but if you just want to try something local look no further, you can almost get to their in sleepers.
CHECK-OUT: took almost 40 minutes, before someone showed up and was able to make the credit card reader machine work.
BREAKFAST: was also supposed to be served from 7am, but none did even start preparing it before that time. So in the end I skipped, as I wasted already almost one hour waiting to pay for my room on the leaving day.
All good in the end, that didn't ruin my day, just make you waste some time.
STAFF: very few of them speak any other language beside French.
