Met all my needs. Was visiting my brother and mother in the village so was conveniently located.
Pros:

Breakfast was exceptional.

Cons:

Being 70 years old the stairs were a problem, but that is a personal issue.

Warm, cosy room and very obliging, friendly staff. Overall a very good experience.
Pros:

We were there for the steam train illumination experience at the local railway, the location of the Swan Hotel was absolutely perfect.

Cons:

It’s hard to criticise what was such a good experience, but the shutters in the room allowed to much light through. I had forgotten to pack an eye mask so found it really hard to settle. I didn’t get much sleep even though it was a beautifully comfortable, quiet room.

Pros:

Nice breakfast and friendly waitress.

Cons:

Didn’t sleep either night due to ridiculously loud music all night. Had early start both mornings so not appreciated. Never anyone at reception.

Great location, family friendly, spacious rooms.
Pros:

Great location, lovely big room and bathroom. Easy parking outside our room. Food was fantastic in the restaurant and very welcoming to families.

Cons:

Bed was a little firm, as were the pillows. Would have been nice to have some fresh milk in the fridge. Only small issues though. Overall very happy and would stay again.

Pros:

Good location and uncomplicated access to property. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The food was decent.

Cons:

I was given a room at the front of the property and there was constant traffic noise until after 12 midnight and then from very early in the morning. Also farm traffic between those hours. Onsite parking was advertised but there was actually very little parking available at the property, although there is other parking available in town with minimal cost.

Superb cooked breakfast, served hot. The bedroom was very clean, comfortable and furnished in a stylish way. The bed was very comfortable. Well designed, spacious bathroom.

Good location and nice atmosphere
Pros:

Nice atmosphere and good location for visiting immediate area like Winchester, Jane Austen Museums Watercress Line etc etc plus Alresford is a nice Georgian style town. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
