A good stay .
Pros:

Ideal placed for where I wanted to be , very helpful and pleasant staff.Room very clean but some parts tired and dated ..

Cons:

Nothing really but building does need a bit of a refurb .

Nice place, good location and very good breakfast
Pros:

Easy check in, no fuss.
Room was quite big with good hanging space, table and chair. Bathroom was big with a really good shower.
Location worked well for me, easy commute into Basingstoke
Breakfast was great, staff were very helpful and polite. Not too busy

Cons:

Radiators were purely decorative so had to use a heater in the room which made it very dry.
Room was located near the door to the bar so a fair bit if noise during the evening.

The hotel is in need of a lot of TLC.
Banister at the bottom of the stairs positively dangerous. The bathroom was not clean, toilet cistern doesn't flush properly, tiles are chipped and damaged with lots of holes and plastic plugs. Loose wobbly television and bedside light with some damage to the walls. Didn't use the shower as the bathroom just didn't feel healthy.

Basic but very good value for money, clean and comfortable room and the pub/resturant was a pleasent place to spend the evening

Bit far from any town or village so not much choice in where to eat and drink.

Good value for money.
Pros:

Close proximity to Winchester. Rooms are good size.

Cons:

The dinner menu on both nights was the same. Specials menu was looked nice & would’ve liked to sample it but on Friday & Saturday evenings most of the choices were gone. That was disappointing. Also not much choice for a vegetarian.
Some wines from wine menu were also unavailable both nights

Pros:

Location perfect for my stay. Great pub and friendly helpful staff
