Personeel heel erg vriendelijk, en behulpzaam.
We konden geen ontbijt nemen maar hadden wel betaald.kregen een heerlijk lunchpakket mee.
Kamer was netjes en schoon.
eigenlijk niets.
The friendliness of the staff. Lizzie & her team are so lovely & helpful 😊
Breakfast is amazing, but I think mugs for tea & coffee would be better then cups & sauers!
No fault of the staff, the Wheatsheaf could do with a makeover. Furniture is looking old & tired, but is always keep clean & tidy 🙂
Room was clean, bed was massive and comfy
Breakfast was lovely too
Everything
Nothing
Not a lot
Dust on TV and radiator thermostat, empty wine bottle in cupboard, tiles damaged in bathroom, bathroom door damaged, peeling face on bathroom units, paint peeling off ceiling, this room really needs to be looked at very untidy
We were there for a funeral at the crematorium, which was literally up the road.
So location was perfect.
Trying to get hold of the pub itself was not easy at all.
They don't answer phone, listen to messages or reply to emails very quickly at all.
It was quiet ,nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable and so reasonably priced.
The bathroom was tired but it all worked perfectly.
Breakfast menu was very good and comprehensive with a choice of various cooked items or continental breakfast.
We was in a older room with beams and sloping floor but was part of the charm. Food was very good and staff friendly.
Bathrooms were a bit dated but functional
Staff wonderful and friendly as always. Evening meals have been lovely. Tasty food, good variety and piping hot! Plenty of parking too.
Rooms are looking a bit tired and bed was very solid, so not the most comfortable sleep and TV remote was very frustrating to use, but it was clean, somewhere to get my head down and i have stayed in other rooms that had a better mattress and better remote at this location, so just luck of the draw with room numbers.
Friendly staff, good food and beer
Bathrooms bit scruffy, water far too hot, heating not working properly no breakfast before 7.30! which is rubbish for business customers
The staff went above and beyond, hotel lovely, comfy bed and clean rooms
Welcome
The stairs.
Ideal placed for where I wanted to be , very helpful and pleasant staff.Room very clean but some parts tired and dated ..
Nothing really but building does need a bit of a refurb .
