Easy to find nice clean hotel plenty of parking room and breakfast were lovely it was just an overnight stop on the way to holiday to miss traffic but would definitely use again
Good location. Friendly staff.
Great location, cheap hotel, good food.
The rooms are dated
Food - evening meal - was good but a little expensive. Breakfast of Eggs Benedict was excellent.
Room was a little shabby, in need of decoration, but bed was comfy, and bathroom was excellent for my disabled mother.
Very good value for money. Very good breakfast and great range of things to eat and all tasty.....great range of cooked breakfast and extas like Danish pastries. Room was big ..showere very good...strong jets and hot. Had an iron and ironing board. Bathroom was good standard bed comfortable and there was a fan (it was a hot night). Dinning room and pub downstairs was well appointed. Large on-site car park just outside the door.
Unusually, we didn't like the coffee on offer. Quite an unusual taste. A piece of wall paper was ripped off the wall ....spoiling an otherwise very decent room. Hair dryer was not very god. But these were minor points (except the coffee).
Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast, the child option for me was big enough.
All good
Comfortable beds. Clean room. Decent, reasonably priced food.
Shower temperature needs attention. Way too hot - could barely stay under for more than a few seconds at a time.
Receptionist very friendly.
I have booked for two people, got only one towel.
The room was nice but very hot, no ventilation. Small fridge would be great add to the room.
Really handy location, great value for the price.
In à la nice position. Very senior. Decent eating places. Great price
Rooms and bathrooms very scruffy and in dire need of TLC
Attached to the pub, with a private access - excellent dinner and breakfast.
Cosy room, quiet and peaceful.
Fan supplied- (it was the warmest May for 80 years!)
Location was brilliant (just at the start of the A303 and you have cleared the London traffic )
Bear in mind we are in our mid-late 70s and the wife is slightly disabled :
No walk-in shower option (wife can’t get into a bath shower)
Stairs - we had mentioned the wife’s disabilities but they put us in an upstairs room with no lift.
Bed was not very comfortable.
The TV was not “smart” and the remote didn’t work!
Przemiła obsługa, uśmiechnięta i pomocna,
Natomiast jedzenie … przepyszne, ukłony dla kuchni.
The room was spacious and a very comfy bed. Staff friendly, with ample parking.
The room was extremely hot even with the windows open. There was a fan in the room but only hot air was generated. The bathroom was on a slant and needed a little TLC. We ate at the pub, starter crab and prawn which wasn’t really nice , I had the squid which was brilliant. We had fish and chips, which wasn’t great. chips were cold and fish not very tasty and tartare sauce wasn’t nice. I had ceasar salad which was one of the best I have had. Breakfast on the other hand was disappointing, eggs Benedict came with a smoked hollandaise which tasted like a cheese sauce which wasn’t nice. The cooked breakfast uncooked tomato, watery tasteless poached egg. Bacon and sausage was ok. The pub was picked for location, it is perfect for a stop over, but not necessarily all the food options.
