Nette kamers, ontvangst prima en gastvrij!
Tijdens ons verblijf waren er niet zo heel veel gasten. Het ontbijt in de ontbijzaal was hierdoor al vroegtijdig opgeruimd. Nadat wij een medewerker gesproken hadden werd meteen een ontbijtje gemaakt met vers gebakken eieren. Echt super fijn en prima opgelost. Als gasten voelde wij ons op ons gemak. Wij kunnen het hotel daarom echt aanraden als je in de buurt op zoek bent naar een goed hotel.
De kamers zijn prima maar lijken wat gehorig. Wij hebben er echter geen hinder van ondervonden.
Wonderful stay with amazing hospitality!
We arrived late in the evening when everything was already closed, but the owner warmly welcomed us not just with one, but two welcome beers each, which was a lovely gesture. The breakfasts were delicious, and when it was time to check out, he even let me set up my laptop and monitor to work for a few hours in the hotel’s common area. Great place, highly recommended!
There was all ok but for the price should be better.

Bedroom was nice and comfy,breakfast delicious,host very helpful and nice.
The owner is a very nice gentleman, who tries his best to please the guests, prepares the breakfast and is happy to provide anything he can. The sauna is great and fast to warm up, it also includes a sound and light system.
It's apparent the owner could use a helping hand to keep up the cleanliness of the apartment, although there were no major issues. We expected an equipped kitchen which unfortunately wasn't prepared and didn't comply with the basic standards one can expect, there were also drying racks with washed sheets and towels, so the room looked more like a technical area rather than something for the guests to use. It wasn't very clean and lacked some basic utensils etc. The restaurant unfortunately doesn't serve food anymore except the breakfasts - following the Covid, the owner was unable to hire staff to run it, which is a shame as this place had obviously a good reputation for its tapas and other specialities.

Super nice place, eco friendly and attention to detail.
Reception with the owner/manager was very friendly and easy check-in . The hotel is a classic half-timber building but the rooms are very modern and obviously recently upgraded . We stayed in the Buddha room which was a bit small but it was very comfortable. There was a en-suite compact bathroom but the bathroom fixtures were very modern and the room was very clean . No A/C but there is a fan in the room if needed . Good inside bike storage . There is an honor bar with many drink options in the hallway by the rooms. On-site restaurant was quite good with a reasonable price point .

No lift but there were only 15 steps up to our room .
The staffs are really nice and friendly. The check in is cute and efficient even arrive late. The room is cozy and clean. Breakfast is nice and delicious.
Only problem is location a bit far from Alznau center, difficult to move without a car
