We were travelling on bicycles. When we checked in, the receptionist, took our water bottles, cleaned them and refilled them with fresh cold water ready for our departure next day for no extra charge - he told me it was all part of the service. Great service - thank you.

The location is perfect, right in the centre of Chateau Gontier, easy to get around. The Staff were so helpful, and couldn't do enough for us, excellent. Overall a pretty wonderful stay. Thank you.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms (but this is getting normal for France, so we have started to take our own).
A mirror above the desk would be useful as well. But these are just minor niggles.
Tout était absolument parfait pour un hôtel 2* qui pourrait être classé, à mon avis, hôtel 3 * de par, sa situation, son confort, sa déco, sa propreté, sa modernité et son côté très familial ! Mais comme m'a dit très justement le propriétaire :"vaut mieux un très bon hôtel 2* qu'un hôtel 3* moyen ! " Le petit déjeuner était délicieux avec des viennoiseries succulentes et des pains de toutes sortes ! Bref nous avons beaucoup aimé.
Le seul point négatif à mes yeux fut le manque d'ascenseur pour monter au second .... c'est tout ! A part ça c'était génial !
