Friendly staff, impossible to sleep while there's construction outside.
Pros:

The staff is very friendly.

Cons:

There's construction happening - sometimes at midnight - right outside the hotel by the river side. There are nights where it's impossible to sleep because of that. I wound up going to 24 hr cafes at times just to get away from the construction noise.

Good location for food lovers and if you like running in nice park. River view and balcony with sunny weather is beautif
Pros:

Good location if you like local culture and what street life has to offer! Really good food places near hotel! Really good running places is near, like small rainforest in the city!

Cons:

Noisy because planes are landing are really low over the hotel. There is no hot water at some point of the day.

Pros:

So tempted to give it a 10 because its such a good value for the money and the room was huge.

At first we were worried that the location was gonna be a problem but once we rented a motorbike (at 13535), all the big attractions of the city were about a 30 minute drive away which I actually enjoyed.

But the upside to the location is that it's quite chill and muuuuuuch cheaper than anything downtown (good coffee just around the corner for 15k)

If you want to stay in Go Vap you could do far worse than this hotel.
Pros:

Pillows were comfy, the blanket was so small for the bed, so we asked for another one and the host was happy to oblige, they brought us another blanket, and the two covered the bed well enough. I enjoyed the sound of the birds in the morning since the hotel is right next to the river. If you like planes, you can watch them as they land at Tan Son Nhat from a room in the front of the building, but be aware you will hear them landing every 5-10 minutes as well, no soundproofing here.

Cons:

The bed was quite hard, which is unfortunate. The room would have gotten reasonably dark but all of the lighting was wired incorrectly I guess because it gave off some light even when turned off, I needed to use my eye mask in order to get to sleep. The main part of the room was clean enough, but there are ants everywhere in the bathroom, and lots of mold in there as well, and the balcony hadn't been properly cleaned in a long enough time for a 3' high weed to be growing on it. There is a view of the river, and you'll see boats moving through it, but there is a ton of trash between the hotel and the river, so its certainly not a nice view. Overall for its low price it was pretty good though.

Definitely worth the time and money
Pros:

The location is good because there's a lot to do, eat, drink, and relax. Also, you're on a river with a nice view too. I will definitely come back.

Cons:

The only issue I has was the bed was very hard and difficult on my back area. Other than that, it was good.
