Excellent place, very friendly staff and amazing food
Pros:

The on-site restaurant was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful and its set in a lovely setting with free parking. It is well located for many reasons.

Cons:

The rooms are tired and do have a musty smell as mentioned by a previous traveller, but for the cost they were fine. A small investment per room to bring them up to date and new carpet in the corridors and this place would be unbeatable.

Liebevolle Details, die problemlose Nutzung der Kaffeemaschine auch außerhalb der Frühstückszeit. Schön eingerichtete Zimmer, vor allem eine angenehme Beleuchtung (das ist in vielen Hotels gruselig), Freundliches Team

Cons:

Etwas schade dass ich beide "Ruhetage" des Restaurants erwischt habe und nichts gut fußläufig erreichbar ist als Alternative. Mehr kann ich aber nicht bemängeln :-)

Une bonne adresse pour une étape très agréable
Pros:

Nous sommes enchantés de notre étape au Flair Hôtel Zur Eiche. Nous avons aimé l’accueil et la disponibilité du personnel, la chambre spacieuse équipée d‘une literie de bon niveau. Et nous avons apprécié notre repas le soir au restaurant de l’hôtel qui propose une carte variée et des plats bien cuisinés. Nous y reviendrons volontiers.

Gut lokalisiert, schnell von der Autobahn zu erreichen. Ruhig, viel grün. Super Personal, hilfreich, freundlich. Kostenlos Wasser, Tee, Kaffee. Parkplatz vorhanden. Sauber. Frühstück leckeres Brot. Gutes Essen im Restaurant vor Ort.

Ein Ort, an den man gern zurück kommt! Danke.
Pros:

Unkompliziert, hilfsbereit und mit absoluter Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Alles war entspannt! Beim Frühstück gab es sogar ein veganes Angebot.

Cons:

Man kann die - bei dem neuen Anstrich - nicht entfernten alten Schrauben noch gut zum Aufhängen von Kleidungsstücken verwenden 😉

Priceworthy country hotel with good food and sleep
Pros:

Very good dinner and breakfast. This was my second stay so I knew what I was expecting. Good service and eating in a nice country hotel. I slept very well. Mainly due to a bit of natural cold in the room (an open window). But also because they had a pillow that made me sleep very well uninterrupted without neck and shoulder pain which has been a follower for many years. They had the pillow for sale and I bought one!

Das Hotelrestaurant "Henry" ist nett eingerichtet ...das war es dann auch schon mit den Nettigkeiten des Hauses...Die Mitarbeiter ignorant und unfreundlich. Das Essen aufgewärmt, von schlechter Qualität, dazu gnadenlos überteuert! Rundum ein total Ausfall i.S. Qualität und Service! Das Hotel scheint seinen Schwerpunkt auf Firmen-, Partei- und sonstige Meetings zu legen. Ganz eindeutig ist man dort als Wanderer nicht willkommen! Leider haben wir uns von dem web Auftritt des Hotels & Restaurant blenden lassen und sind reingefallen!!! Mit grossem Abstand die einzig schlechte Erfahrung am gesamten Heidschnuckenweg!!!
