Terrible experience San Vito Lo Capo
Pros:

the staff was friendly, the hotel was well kept

Cons:

terrible experience..at 9am there was NOTHING to EAT at BREAKFAST, when breakfat went till 10am..we paid for breakfat but there was no food..we complained the receptionst apologied but did absolutely nothing else..

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN SAN VITO LO CAPO, cheap tourist seaside village, with over priced poor quality restaurants..

Esperienza terrificante! Traumatizzante.
Pros:

Non mi è piaciuto praticamente nulla mi sono sentito male per il caldo e non ho dormito per sette giorni a causa del sistema dell’aria condizionata insufficiente e bloccata al minimo dal gestionale della Reception senza alcuna possibilità di poterla regolare, ma avendo solo l’illusione di quello che mostrava il termostato ma che non veniva recepito dal climatizzatore perché bloccato al minimo dalla Reception?

Cons:

La possibilità di non poter regolare l’aria condizionata della camera nonostante il comando del termostato funzionasse regolarmente senza dare alcun risultato sul climatizzatore che soffiava in modalità notte una quantità di aria insufficiente al raffrescamento della camera. La porta finestra della camera da letto ha degli spifferi di aria che contribuiscono a far entrare Aria calda nella camera dall’esterno. All’interno del bagno il dispenser dello Shampoo non faceva uscire il liquido se non una piccola goccia ogni quattro pompate assolutamente scomodo ed inefficace. Assoluta impossibilità di poter parcheggiare l’auto all’esterno della struttura se non a 4 km di distanza tutta l’area intorno all’albergo non ha spazi liberi per poter parcheggiare. Tutto il paese ha le strisce giallo blu che indicano il divieto di parcheggio ai non residenti. Esistono solo poche aree con striscia blu vicino al centro storico a caro prezzo due euro l’ora. Il sindaco ha veramente esagerato. In questa maniera i turisti scappano. Chi trasgredisce multa salatissima e auto portata al deposito giudiziario con il carro attrezzi. Diversi carro attrezzi sguinzagliati per le strade tutto il giorno in cerca delle prede dei turisti. L’acqua della piscina è piena di cloro e ho una irritazione agli occhi per due giorni che continuo a subire la pelle continua a puzzare di cloro, nonostante ripetute docce con il sapone. Già dal primo giorno ho fatto presente al Direttore la problematica dell’aria condizionata la problematica del fatto che tenevano le camere non in temperatura comfort quando l’ospite non è in camera la problematica dei parcheggi, la problematica della doccia e dello Shampoo ma nulla è servito. Il personale è completamente privo diconoscenza dell’uso dell’addebito delle carte di credito PS questa mattina mi sono ritrovato a dover andare via senza la possibilità di poter pagare, perché non c’era il Receptionist di turno ed il direttore non era all’altezza di farci pagare con il Pos.!!

A bit unexperienced hotel with potential
Pros:

We booked two nights in this hotel since more or less everything in the city center was booked. The hotel is located a 15 min walk from the beach in a residential area. Easy to park outside, otherwise the area around the hotel is not very nice. The hotel is however new and very fresh. The room was rather spacious and so was the bathroom. Everything was clean and neat and we had a nice, sunny balcony with views towards the cliffs. The rooftop area is also nice, they should however have some sun shed there since it was impossible to stay there during the sunny day.

The breakfast room is located in the basement and there were the items you would expect from an Italian breakfast. However it did not feel very corona safe to sit very close to other guests coughing, sneezing and touching all the cutlery for grabbing the food. All the fruit and cakes were also out in the open, whereas the bread and cold cuts were placed in boxes.

The first impression of the hotel was however not so nice since we were told to not bring any drinks (not even water) into the hotel, before the staff even said hi and welcomed us to the hotel. In general friendly staff though, but some don't speak English very well. Some improvements here and there and then they will probably deserve the four stars I give them since 3,5 is not possible. It is clear that they want to make a good experience for the guests.
