Agradable quizás en verano.
Pros:

El desayuno buffet estuvo bien. Me agradó todo el entorno del hotel, las instalaciones son bonitas y bien cuidadas, solo que sí está a 13 minujtos en coche de Real del Monte y se accede por una carretera local estrecha, por la noche podría ser peligroso, además de la oscuridad.

Cons:

En esta época del año, diciembre 2026, pasamos mucho frío en la habitación porque no tienen un calentador para prestarnos, sólo la chimenea, pero nosotros somos alérgicos al humo de la madera, así que no pudimos dormir bien por el frío y a nuestro regreso llegamos con resfriado.

Nada recomendable, todo está sucio y las cobijas tiene manchas
Pros:

Elegimos este hotel por la ubicación y por qué era el que ofrecía una experiencia más “luxury” en Real del Monte. Elegimos una “suite” sin importar que el precio sería mayor y la realidad es que el cuarto estaba horrible. Lo peor de todo es que todo estaba sucio. La colcha, los cojines y las cobijas. Estaban manchadas y olían muy feo.

Cons:

En verdad el servicio de limpieza es deplorable, para nada hay una relación calidad precio. Entiendo que en la zona no hay tanta oferta de hoteles de gama alta, pero la limpieza es algo basico y fundamental. Nunca recomendaría este hotel.

Peaceful rustic stay, lovely fire but no wifi, close to Real del Monte
Pros:

- Quaint, quiet setting next to a stream, little balcony
- The fireplace is wonderful and makes for a cozy atmosphere
- Shower with bathtub and ample hot water
- Small toiletries & waters provided, little shop for snacks & necessities right next door
- Just 10 mins drive to the center of Real/Mineral del Monte
- Decent breakfast included
- Ca. 30-40 min to various hiking areas in Mineral del Chico
- Generous check-out until 1pm

Cons:

- No heating + poor insulation + tiled floors means without the fire it gets cold in the room, dress accordingly
- Wifi does not work whatsoever (apart from in the reception area in another building) and phone reception is poor. Don't expect to be able to go online much, let alone stream any movies.
- Could do with a comfy chair to sit next to the fire, only chairs are hard wooden ones on the balcony.
- Breakfast only starts at 9am (but goes till 12). For early risers like me who want to start hiking in the morning, 8am would be more convenient.

SÚPER LUGAR!!! Nos dejó encantados!! La habitación estaba era super cómoda, descansamos súper bien. Aparte, el desayuno fue DELICIOSO y el personal de lo más lindo y amable!! 🙏🏻💖🙌🏻 Aparte, se nos hizo un detallazo que nos dieran las cortesías de vino al llegar. 1000% recomendado!! Sin duda volveremos!! 😃

Todo demasiado bien pero la regadera detectamos que le faltaba limpieza

Delicious breakfasts and friendly service
Pros:

We were impressed with the quality of the breakfast (different freshly-cooked Mexican dishes every day, fresh fruit and juices, yoghurts, cereals, pastries, etc.) and the friendly service from the staff - especially Francisco the manager. No evening restaurant on site but we used local taxis into Mineral del Monte. There is also a little shop selling crafts and groceries opposite the hotel - you have to ring the bell and wait for the owner to arrive. Nice views from our balcony. Clean rooms.

Good place to stay outside Mineral del Monte
Pros:

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is fairly new but built in an OK style. Makes a good place to stay outside the village of Mineral del Monte at just 5 mins by car. Rooms are OK with all you need: hot water, chimney, balcony with some chairs, cable TV. Friendly service and a very good breakfast buffet. Didnt visit the spa because service is just until 4PM! Recommended: take a 15 mins walk up the road to visit the Acosta mine
