Special Stay by the Sanctuary of Saint Michael!
Pros:

The hotel is located right next to the Basilica, practically attached, with even an elevator providing access to the chapel, directly connected to Saint Michael’s Grotto. (: The room and bathroom are good, and the breakfast is quite simple but served at the table. The staff welcomed us in a kind and helpful manner, and the common areas are pleasant and fairly spacious.

Cons:

The room heater was not working, only the bathroom heater functioned. The area is very cold, making it difficult to sleep without proper heating. The blankets were very dusty, and despite the cold, we chose not to use them, which made for an uncomfortable and cold night.

Suggestions:
It would be beneficial to replace the blankets with hypoallergenic and easy-to-clean options, such as duvets. In addition, the heating system in the rooms should be checked to ensure proper functionality. Another suggestion would be to have a TV in the lounge connected to the programming from Saint Michael’s Grotto, allowing pilgrims to remain in a prayerful atmosphere even outside the sanctuary. There is a leaflet with Mass schedules, but this information could also be displayed in other areas of the hotel, such as the elevator and guest rooms. There was no hairdryer in the room, but the reception kindly provided one upon request without any issues.

It was truly special to stay right next to the Sanctuary of Saint Michael. We’ve noted a few areas for improvement to make the experience even better. Grazie!

Perfect place
Pros:

Everything was good, very clean, the staffs very kind, comfortable abs location is close the Sao Miguel temple and goid price with breakfast 🛕 🙌. Super recommend. Thanks fir everything

Pros:

Perfect location for the shrine. Only steps away. Lift actually brings you there if you needed it. Clean.

Cons:

Rooms very spartan, but that fits for a pilgrim stay. The wind howled all night which could be unsettling, but I thought it added to the atmosphere.

Pros:

Breakfast was okey but because I was only one person they don't give to much variety, I noticed they give a very good breakfast is you are in a group of 10 more persons.
The dinner you have to paid separately and was delicious the Risotto and the meat. The waitress very polite 😀

Cons:

The staff in the front desk okey but they are no very helpful 😕, one old lady was very rude and act like she is give you a favor,so disappointed

Location wise absolutely perfect!
It has a direct lift from the Hotel to the Grotte de St Michael.
Dinner also good and reasonably priced.
except for the restaurant the overall feeling is something between a luxury monastery and a pitiful hotel
Yet I actually ended up staying longer then intended.

Cons:

The rooms are rather run down and the whole hotel feels like a timetravel when concrete dominated construction.
the layout of the hotel is also not trivial. it is funky to get to the restaurant.

The best place to stay when at Monte Sant’Angelo!
Pros:

I love how it’s next to the Basilica Santuario di San Michele Arcangelo. Actually, if you are downstairs in the cave, you can take the elevator to go up, and when the door opens up and you find yourself next to the albergo. I love how friendly and helpful the staff was. When we went there, most of the shops were closed because it was very very early and I worried about where to purchase the bus ticket to go to San Giovanni Rotondo. Thankfully, the wonderful reception staff was able to sell me the bus tickets. Plus, the bus stop was only a 1-2 minute walk from the albergo. The breakfast was a great deal for the price of the stay. The breakfast place was very clean, the food was hot and ready at 7:30 am.

Pros:

Awesome fantastic location! This is a house for the pilgrims, all those who have come to pay respect to St. Michael. My aunt was on wheelchair and it was great that she could use the elevators to get to the sanctuaries. Had a blessed time. There are options to have meals in the hotel or outside. Will definitely recommend and stay here again

Cons:

It was super cold when we visited, and we did not know that they turn off the heaters in the middle of the night. So, it was freezing cold and there was no one at the reception till the next morning to request for heating. Other than that, all else was great !

Todo me gustó, es fácil llegar, el bus lo deja a uno al frente de una pequeña plaza cerca al hotel.
La habitación es muy cómoda, el hotel es acogedor.

Cons:

Falta más orientación y comunicación con el personal del hotel, sobre las dudas que tenemos antes de la llegada al hotel, porque siempre se siente un poco de temor cuando uno llega a un sitio por primera vez y de noche. Falta un WhatsApp para facilitar la comunicación o mayor respuesta al correo electrónico.

La inmejorable ubicación ☺️

Cons:

Mucho ruido, bastante, en la noche y en la madrugada, se escucha todo, televisión, pasos, baños de los cuartos vecinos. El cuarto en general está bien, espacios, servicios, cosas para el baño, jabón, toallas, etc, cobijas extras pero de verdad que hay mucho ruido no se si sea normal porque estuve una noche.
