An excellent stay in Athirapally
Pros:

I’m a cleanliness freak and I liked that the room was cleaned well. Everything was working as it should. No broken fixtures.

Bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby throughout my stay. Shower was incredible! The pressure was very relaxing. Everything in the bathroom was sanitised.

The staff were very polite and accommodating, even accepting some special requests of mine.

I also liked that everything was so close by. It was very convenient to travel around.

Overall, a property I won’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Cons:

As a single woman traveller, it was scary when my doorknob was turned two nights in a row around 9 PM. I think it was kids and I’m not sure what can be done about it, but just sharing as info for other female travellers.

I also didn’t appreciate repeated morning calls for breakfast at 8 AM and again at 9 AM on the day of my checkout. I didn’t ask for a reminder. If this was a subtle nudge for checkout, I think there are better ways to do it that doesn’t disturb a guest’s sleep with a loud, shrill ringing.

Relaxing 3 days
Pros:

Facilities were in pristine condition including the pool. Staff members were very helpful. We (family of 4) enjoyed the food, dinner was made to order and breakfast buffet included. Relaxing 2-3 days. Kids also enjoyed the mini Table tennis, air hockey, foosball and carton board.
