The hotel is beautifully designed and blends perfectly with the natural surroundings of Chefchaouen. The architecture, landscaping, and attention to detail create a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. The panoramic views over the Blue City, especially from the pool and rooftop, are spectacular. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and tastefully furnished. I also appreciated the thoughtful local touches, from the tableware to the welcome amenities. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making the stay even more enjoyable.
The property is built on a hillside, so there are quite a few stairs throughout the hotel. While this adds to its unique character and the stunning views, it may be challenging for guests with mobility issues. Other than that, the stay was excellent.
Amazing everything ... the view is exceptional
Verder was alles perfect – Kiki’s kiss!
The location, the breathtaking views and the room were absolutely exceptional. We stayed in a very spacious suite with excellent facilities, and the hotel itself is truly beautiful. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay.
The hotel has enormous potential, but the service level needs significant improvement if it wants to compete with other luxury hotels internationally.
There were simply too few staff available to serve guests (especially in the pool area) and even ordering simple drinks or snacks often took far too long. On one occasion we waited approximately 1.5 hours for lunch.
The black metal sun loungers become extremely hot in 36°C sunshine and are uncomfortable to use, as you constantly risk burning yourself.
The hotel also needs a better system for pool towels. Guests should not have to spend time searching for towels or asking staff repeatedly.
In addition, I still have not received an invoice for my stay, which is disappointing. That should be a brainer. At check-out, nobody asked whether everything had met our expectations or if there was anything they could have improved.
Finally, having to order dinner well in advance was something we have never experienced at comparable hotels around the world. It gave the impression that the hotel is understaffed or that the service operation is not yet sufficiently organised.

Beautiful hotel on the top of the hill with amazing views. Staff was super nice too and the food was good. The pool area is lovely and we had a lovely time there.
We were not informed that the road coming up to the hotel had collapsed and we had to walk a bit to get to it, but one of the staff came to meet us and help with the luggage. Also there are 150 steps leading up to the hotel so be prepared for the climb. Chefchaouen is all about steps anyway, so think if you are up for it before you visit it.

Staff were great! Room was excellent with an exceptional balcony view of the entire city. Rustic yet very well cared for!! Room decor was sooooo nice, including fresh flowers everywhere at arrival! We felt so welcomed and supported!
The Hammam was FANTASTIC!! We had another one later in our stay and it was more money, while being less than half as good. She was so kind, respectful and rough while being gentle. A must experience, although very different from massages (like stone, Swedish, etc)!! After a long day and a tough hike we were completely brought back to life!!
The stairs are almost unbearable! Granted our visit was in July 2026 so multiple times up the stairs each day was a challenge. The staff are amazing to do it with such ease. We thought we were in pretty good shape too!
There were two younger front desk staff that misguided us a bit. We needed a taxi and none were answering so we were told to just walk down the hill and they’d be there. None were there so we ended up way30 minutes in heat. We were told about the distance by another It wasn’t a 10 min walk! Everyone else was great, including staff that carried our bags up the hill, IN THE HEAT, with a smile!! Breakfast servers too!!
Overall, great stay at a beautiful hotel with great people and food AND SPA! Just be ready for a lot of stairs!!
We were so blown away by Dar Jasmine, it was one of my favourite hotels I have ever stayed in. Peaceful, beautiful, the most outstanding view and food was delicious! We loved all the little touches like the room decor, the chess board etc. Hospitality was 10/10. While it is a bit of a walk to get there, it’s well worth it and we did not find it to be an issue despite it being very hot.
Everything was perfect
The stairs to get there
