Room was spacious, shower was good
The breakfast arrangement. You had to order the cooked breakfast the night before and specify exactly your order.
I didn’t like the cupboard the continental breakfast was served from. Why not use the restaurant area for breakfast too, would be so much better. The continental breakfast wasn’t that great.
Lovely welcome, superb views, excellent room, very good breakfast choice.
Dinner. Poor choice. Meals obviously pre-cooked and pretty tasteless. No ground pepper for pasta. Not good value for money. Nearly £20 for very ordinary fish and chips? £18 for pizza?
Room was nice, if not a bit ‘safe’ needed a bit more boutique feel.
Could definitely be a premium hotel but just not there yet.
Bar/dining area had no vibe. No outside music and seemed dead for dinner time.
Food overpriced for what it was - basic marg pizza was £16, not freshly cooked, fairly sure it was pre made/bought in
Didn't really eat breakfast, but copious and tasty hot coffee was liberally consumed. Had 2 mini croissants, they were tasty. The room, 302, was superb, like a 5 star hotel with far more facilities and amenities than expected. Fridge, robes, luxury toiletries, a great view (albeit down the drive) to the estuary and the sea beyond. Real milk in the fridge was a bonus as was the Nespresso machine (were' big coffee drinkers, can you guess?!) We will CERTAINLY come again.
No comment here. All was well
Location - views and nature at best. Terraces and garden lovely.
Continental breakfast could have been better. No prepared fruit. In such a location, local walks could have been printed. Pub type food OK but Ferry Inn down road much better.
Location. Friendly staff.Very large room with aircon .Option to purchase evening meal which were very nice..Breakfast continental but lots of choice.Parking lots of space.
No negatives at all.
Hotel was in a beautiful location right on the edge of the Teifi estuary/ Poppit Sands.
Room was newly renovated, immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. Bed was huge and very confortable, lovely locally produced toiletries too.
Continental breakfast was included in price, cooked option available if pre-ordered at an extra cost but the continental provision was plentiful - good selection of fruit, yogurts, cereals, fresh bread for toasting, jams, pastries, boiled eggs
Reception staff we were helpful and friendly.
Hotel is well kept and very spacious
The drive to the hotel is a bit hairy with very narrow single track roads at some points.
When arriving for breakfast, we were greeted by one particular member of staff on both days and i'm sorry to say she wasn't the most welcoming or friendly. I understand that she had a lot to do in addition to taking room numbers and directing people to tables but compared to the other staff we encountered at the hotel, she really wasn't in the same league.
Breakfast provisions weren't replenished frequently and relied on the guests asking for more rather than staff proactively filling up empty trays/dishes etc.
Its a beautiful location. Our room was excellent. The hotel was lovely and clean throughout.
Staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly from cleaners to the Manager. Like one big family. Nothing was to much trouble. Food was very good and service great.
Thank you for a really lovely stay. We will be back.
Nothing
Great location the views were great
Nothing
The location is excellent right by the River with excellent views. Continental breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Air conditioning in the room was great as it was very hot outside, the room was large and had a balcony with a view of the river. Plenty of parking onsite.
Everything was great
The staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent so much to choose from. The restaurant was top class. The accommodation was 1st class and so thankful for air conditioning.
Nothing
Room size was spacious . A good selection for food at breakfast . Evening meal very good . Bathroom was clean
There was a constant generator type noise coming into the room from outside the room where we were situated ..affected sleeoing
Fantastic location on the river, short walk from the beach and about 30 minute walk to St Dogmael village. Large modern room with super air con (much needed during the heatwave!) and all the facilities you’d expect. Continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Friendly staff, on site parking. Can’t fault it.
Dog not allowed, so we had to leave ours at home. As doggy people, it would have been a 10/10 if they’d also allowed dogs.
Loved our room, perfect for my wife and I in one bed, with a separate bed in its own room for our son. Comfy beds too. Shower lovely
Cooked breakfast felt a little expensive (but very nice)
The room was spacious with good sized bathroom and walkin shower.
