No breakfast as the power was out,couldnt use the Toaster or make a cup of tea.Big deal for me as I had a long trip in front of me.
The room heater switched off in the early morning hours.The outside temperature was 1 degree Celsius so this was a big deal for me.
Great vibe in a vintage hotel, exceptional foods and friendly staffs. The room is actually larger than I expected based on the photos.
The sound insulation wasn’t good, but it’s generally quite there (provided that there isn’t a snoring customer)
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
You could help yourself to toast, cereal and coffee/tea.
Meals in the pub were amazing!
Toilet ams bathroom need curtains on the inside even though the panes of glass were frosted to make it more private.
Gorgeous historic hotel, lovely location, building and grounds. My little guy loved the swing and we enjoyed the pool table. Very friendly locals, very helpful staff. Comfortable bed, fantastic heater so we didn’t feel the 0 degrees outside at all. The dinner was fantastic. Definitely have the veggies as the chef goes to town! Super quiet to sleep as well.
I liked all of it. The bathroom is shared and you have to nip down the corridor but with such a toasty warm bedroom it didn’t matter.
Nice country pub accommodation, food was excellent and all the staff was very friendly and helpful.
