Stilvolle Unterkunft in einem aufwändig restaurierten Gutsgebäude.
Pros:

Tolles altes Landgut mit viel Liebe restauriert. Großes Zimmer mit bequemem Bett und sehr neuem Bad. Tolle Dusche. Zugang zum Zimmer durch die Deele, die ansprechend mit alten Möbeln als großes Wohnzimmer eingerichtet war. Schöner Garten, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Obwohl die Küche eigentlich geschlossen war, hat man uns noch Bärlauchsuppe, Flammkuchen, Matjes Hausfrauenart und Ofenkartoffeln angeboten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Die zum Teil nicht so positiven Kommentare von früheren Gästen, können wir nicht nachvollziehen.

Cons:

Leider war es in der schönen Deele („Wohnzimmer“) ziemlich kalt. Vorschlag fürs Frühstücksbuffet: Nicht nur Brötchen, sondern auch Brot anbieten. Mehrere Marmeladen wären auch gut.

Our second stay at this hotel, and again it left us with a very good feeling. Initially looking for a comfortable place to stay overnight, but each time we get more than expected.
The hotel is small, family-run, very tidy and beautiful - clearly not a chain hotel. There is no sense of standardisation here; instead, you can feel the care and love put into every detail.
The breakfast is nicely varied without being excessive - no overload, no rush. Everything is neatly arranged and beautifully presented, with great taste. Candles on the tables, subtle scents (including incense), and a calm, cosy atmosphere make it feel like a genuinely pleasant start to the day rather than a routine.
Overall, the place has a very warm and authentic feel. It is completely free from the “plastic” atmosphere often associated with chain hotels - instead, it feels personal and real.

Cons:

In so ländlichen Gegenden finde ich eine Parkgebühr in Höhe von 10€ pro Nacht nicht angemessen.
Insgesamt stimmte für mich das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Bei einem Zimmerpreis von 176€ pro Nacht in der Nebensaison kann man zumindest Duschgel in der Dusche erwarten.

Een autentieke ervaring in een landelijke en natuurrijke omgeving vlakbij de Elbe.
Pros:

De locatie is prachtig, mooie oude gebouwen middenin de natuur en landerijen. Heel dorps. Het ontbijt is fantastisch. En het is een bedrijf waar je onderdeel van wordt. Een aparte vorm van gastvrijheid die bijzonder is en heel autentiek. Voor onze slaapkamerdeur stond een fanfare band te repeteren in de lobby.

Cons:

De checkout om 10 uur mag wel wat later.
Wat ons echt heeft gestoord is dat als je als Hotelgast parkeert je €10 parkeergeld betaald (voor parkeren op een weiland in the middle of nowhere) en dat als je als gast van het restaurant parkeert op hetzelfde weiland - want veel meer is het niet- je voor niets kunt parkeren. Dat voelt echt als uitmelken van je hotelgasten. Die notabene meer uitgeven dan de restaurant gasten.

Cons:

Restaurant kurzfristig geschlossen - kann passieren. Aber: wir hatten ausdrücklich reserviert und wurden erst bei unserer Ankunft lapidar darauf hingewiesen ö, dass wir uns irgendwo anders etwas zu Essen suchen müssten. Und das in einer sehr ländlichen Region mit nicht gerade üppigem Restaurantangebot!
