A gorgeous hilltop retreat in Monteverde.
Pros:

We loved this place. It was so beautiful and peaceful, and Jose helped set up our tours and made excellent recommendations. The rooms are very big with huge comfortable beds. The views are incredible, especially at sunset.

Cons:

We were sad to leave, there was nothing we didn’t like.

A fantastic hotel with amazing views. Highly recommended!
Pros:

The hotel is fabulous. The rooms are all designed to have an amazing view out over the Nicosia peninsula. Our room was very comfortable - with an extra large bed, a couple of easy chairs, fridge and coffee maker.
The verandah had a sofa and we sat and watched the most beautiful sunset each evening.
The on-site restaurant produced probably the best food we had in Costa Rica. Fresh, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented.
Jose, the owner, is a friendly, kind and helpful host.

Wonderful location. Excellent rooms and staff. Good value
Pros:

Wonderful location with fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean. Rooms are open design with great vistas. Very comfortable bed furniture. The restaurant next to the rooms and has a good selection of entrees and firewood pizza. All the staff were very helpful. Crystal was particularly attentive and helpful.

Can be very windy at times.

This is truly a wow hotel. The view from the room feels like a dream I could not take my eyes off it. I am completely in love with this place. The mountain views are absolutely incredible and genuinely make you feel as if you are on top of the world. The room and bed are extremely comfortable, adding to the overall sense of relaxation.
Jose was exceptional warm, passionate, and deeply connected to his hotel. You can truly feel that he has created a piece of art, perfectly positioned in one of the most beautiful spots in Monteverde. I would like to sincerely thank him for his outstanding hospitality.

Cons:

I honestly did not like having to leave the hotel for excursions. I felt guilty stepping away from such a beautiful and extraordinary place, as every moment there felt too special to spend elsewhere.

If you're in the area, stay here. You will not be disappointed.
Pros:

There is not one bad thing I can speak of regarding our stay. The view...spectacular, the location...ideal. Our host, the BEST! We didn't want to leave. The restaurant for breakfast/dinner was superb. 10/10 all around.

Not one thing we didn't like. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Wonderful boutique hotel in Monteverde cloud forest.
Pros:

Beautiful property with stunning views. Jose, the hotel owner was very welcoming and made our stay extra special. He reserved activities for us in advance and gave us helpful information about local tours and dining. We all had massages on site that were exceptional. We enjoyed the wine and grill for breakfast and dinner.

Pros:

Beautiful location. Very clean room and extremely helpful staff. We wish we could have stayed few more days to enjoy this hotel and the fantastic sunset from the hotel garden.
