A Wonderful Monteverde Stay
Pros:

The hotel surpassed our expectations. Located just a few minutes’ drive outside of town, its hillside position offers breathtaking distant views of the Golfo de California and the Nicoya Peninsula, along with stunning sunsets. Our room was very comfortable and spotless, situated in a single casita with a covered, furnished terrace. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with off-street parking available. The on-site restaurant is excellent. Jose, the owner and host, was warm and friendly, providing fantastic recommendations for local sights and restaurants. We would be happy to stay again.

Excellent place to stay while exploring Monteverde.
Pros:

Well maintained and recently renovated. Excellent view and nice garden area. Jose the owner was welcoming and very helpful with planning. Lots of places to sit and take in the epic sunsets.

A gorgeous hilltop retreat in Monteverde.
Pros:

We loved this place. It was so beautiful and peaceful, and Jose helped set up our tours and made excellent recommendations. The rooms are very big with huge comfortable beds. The views are incredible, especially at sunset.

Cons:

We were sad to leave, there was nothing we didn’t like.

A fantastic hotel with amazing views. Highly recommended!
Pros:

The hotel is fabulous. The rooms are all designed to have an amazing view out over the Nicosia peninsula. Our room was very comfortable - with an extra large bed, a couple of easy chairs, fridge and coffee maker.
The verandah had a sofa and we sat and watched the most beautiful sunset each evening.
The on-site restaurant produced probably the best food we had in Costa Rica. Fresh, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented.
Jose, the owner, is a friendly, kind and helpful host.

Pros:

Wonderful location with fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean. Rooms are open design with great vistas. Very comfortable bed furniture. The restaurant next to the rooms and has a good selection of entrees and firewood pizza. All the staff were very helpful. Crystal was particularly attentive and helpful.

Can be very windy at times.
