Kleines Hotel mit Charm und Stil. Und wunderschöner Dachterrasse zum Frühstücken. Sehr zentral und mit Parkservice. Zimmer nett eingerichtet und Betten bequem.

The location was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary continental breakfast has nice. The rooftop terrace was enjoyable.

Many rooms required maneuvering a series of narrow stairs which may be an issue for someone with mobility issues.

Staying at Casa del Tio made my first visit to San Miguel de Allende comfortable and memorable.
Pros:

Huge bed, complementary hot breakfast at neighboring b & b, excellent location, beautiful view from rooftop

Lovely little hotel, beds were super comfortable, great showers, and the roof terrace was wonderful for watching the sunset. Excellent value.

The location was good.

Cons:

The majority of the staff did not speak English as advertised. There was no hot water in the shower. We told 2 different staff members but never got fixed. We have money taken out of our safe. We had placed pesos in the safe in order to be able to pay for our airport transportation home. Half of the money was taken. We know that the staff have a master key to the safes. Would not stay there again!
