A cosy, lovely base to explore the area.
Pros:

An excellent base to explore the surrounding area by train/bus that is super easy to get to from Salzburg - and a cosy place to stay in winter that was spotlessly clean and well kept. Beautiful views over the mountain in the breakfast room. The restaurant for dinner served exceptional food - a real highlight!

Cons:

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. At times, the room was noisy as sound travels between rooms!

Piccolo Albergo di Famiglia tradizione.
Pros:

Piccolo Albergo di Famiglia dal 1360. Albergo piccolino ma proprio per questo curato e seguito con attenzione dai proprietari e dal figlio persone gentilissime. Camere come sempre pulite e semplici. Albergo nel viale centrale e a 5 minuti dalla stazione dei treni. Con la card che ti viene consegnata ti muovi liberamente con i treni e i bus senza spendere un centesimo in più chapeau ! Comodissimo per Salisburgo e le miniere di Hallein con treni frequenti e fino a tarda sera noi non abbiamo più mosso la macchina. Buona la colazione e la sera la più buona Goulasch Souppe mai mangiata. Grazie per l’ospitalità.
