The room was very good and I liked the free filtered water. Breakfast was excellent the bar /lounge area where I ate Sundat night was very spacious and quiet. In the morning I had a lovely walk in the grounds, beside the river. There is also a rock garden and a wildflower garden.
Weekday check out is 9am, which I think unusual for a hotel and unduly harsh!
The hotel is in beautiful surroundings and the grounds next to the river are lovely to wander around.All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Breakfast was served in a big dining room with views onto the river.The selection of food was very good and the staff working there were very professional but again very friendly.

A beautiful place to stay, very comfortable and staff very welcoming and helpful.
Both hotel and Booking.com v helpful when had family emergency. Hotel itself quite corporate... rooms are in new building (not the white one pictured). Mine was on first floor overlooking park.. wouldn't have liked ground floor courtyard one. Great setting in large park by river. Numerous friendly staff at breakfast.
Mattress far too soft.
The staff were great. The location is remote and there's not much around the hotel; it was a great stop on a cycling trip. The grounds of the hotel are very nice. Breakfast was very nice.
The hotel is a little way out of Henley, but it is set in stunning grounds. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is a help yourself buffet in a beautiful room overlooking the garden and the river. It was a 4 km walk into Henley over the fields. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help, I would certainly stay again. As a solo traveller I felt incredibly safe.
Lovely big rooms, great breakfast in a great location over looking the Thames.
Wifi was poor at times and the room was a little on the warm side.

They answered all our questions and gave us some excellent recommendations with regards to the surrounding area to visit and things to do.

Evening meal not fantastic, soup was bland, no butter for cheese & biscuits, main meal not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.
You have to pay as you go, no settling up when leaving as in most hotels. We ordered a bottle of wine with our meal, they couldn't take payment in the restaurant due to WiFi issues, several tries during our meal was disruptive and we ended up having to go to the bar to pay, we felt they didn't trust us.
