Great location for Camino pilgrims.
Pros:

Good central location. 6 minutes from train station and a few minutes from start of Camino. Free coffee in the morning. Not serving breakfast yet. New owner just opened place in September 2026.

All good.

Voor een nacht voldoende
Pros:

Eenvoudig hotel zonder faciliteiten, badkamer en bed okay. Pension en-of logement zou een betere naam zijn geweest. Voor mensen die goed ter been zijn en een nachtje willen overnachten, voordat ze starten met de camino naar Santiago de Compestella kan dit een redelijk goede privé slaapplek zijn. Niet meer en niet minder.

Cons:

Het hotel heeft geen faciliteiten. Je kunt er niet ontbijten (wel gelegenheden in de buurt). Reden is dat restaurant op begane grond gesloten en ontruimd is. Je moet door donkere ruimte, naar steile en smalle trap die naar de kamers leidt. Kamer voor een nacht is okay. Niet geschikt voor langer verblijf. Tegen betaling kan op de begane grond koffie en-of thee uit een automaat worden gehaald. Dit is de enige aanwezige voorziening. Eigenaar is niet altijd aanwezig (je krijgt sleutel van de voordeur). Verder geen personeel.

So lucky to have found this right before my Camino.
Pros:

It was the perfect location before the start of my Camino. The staff were very nice and went above and beyond, helping me with my luggage shipping- I appreciate them!

The owner/manager Cedric is very kind and helpful. And the room is stoplessly clean and nice! If I ever return to SJPP, I would definitely book a room there again!
