Pros:

Brilliantly sited on the best beach for swimming in Puerto Angel - Playa Panteon. There are easy snorkeling opportunities and boat excursions and fishing are available right from the hotel’s grounds. The rooms are plain but with AC and the WiFi is adequate. Pleasant and always helpful staff.

Cons:

Narrow selection of meals in the hotel restaurant - we and other guests often had to take taxis to Zipolite for good dinner. We keenly missed a small refrigerator and coffeemaker in our otherwise comfortable room.

Great location, confortable and clean rooms
Pros:

Hotel is in a great location, right on the beach with beautiful morning sunrises. Staff were great, room was large and clean.
We ate one dinner in the hotel on the beach which was good (fish)

Cons:

WIFI could have been better. Not very strong and seemed intermittent at times.

Pros:

The location is prime. The staff was polite, helpful and efficient. The restaurant was tasty with a good menu on the beach. The A.C. in the room worked well.

Cons:

The beds were a little old and hard. The rooms need a fridge of some sort. The T.V. didn't work well.

El hotel esta bien ubicado y no me salió tan caro y además tienen un estacionamiento privado. También el personal es amable

Me advirtieron que no iba a tener un cuarto hacia la playa y está bien pero no me esperaba tener una vista al panteón y la calle así que las cortinas se quedaron cerradas. El baño está amplio pero el agua sale por todos lados porque no hay cortina así que no es muy cómodo. Lo peor para mí es que la puerta de la habitación se cierra desde adentro pero solo se necesita que alguien empuje con un poquito de fuerza la puerta para que se abre así que no daba mucha confianza. Además la puerta deja pasar todo el ruido entonces dependiendo del ruido que hacen los otros clientes, la recepción o el restaurante la estancia no estuvo muy buena por desgracia

A great place, with great staff and owner, which we hope to come back to.
Pros:

The staff went out of their way to make arrangements for using their snorkel equipment and kayaks. The reef is very close to the beach and protected from waves by the curve of the bay, making it easy to calmly float among the varieties and schools of fish. The upper floor rooms with ocean-side balconies are the best!

Very good beachside hotel but poor hotel restaurant.
Pros:

Large room. We had top floor room with balcony facing the bay and it was beautiful. Good hot water and pressure in the shower, but not so good in bathroom sink. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel provided purified water so you didn't have to buy bottled water. Hotel staff suggested wonderful 3 hour private sunset boat cruise on our final day, and it was great. Good beach for swimming, but watch out for some of the boats using the bay. Some go very fast and don't seem to pay much attention to the swimmers.

Cons:

Hotel Restaurant was very disappointing. Food was awful, and flies everywhere. Most people went elsewhere to eat. Great restaurants are a short cab ride away from the hotel, especially good ones in Zipolite. Air conditioning broke twice. Air conditioning unit was right outside by balcony blowing all the hot air directly at you when you were sitting on the balcony. Very hot and uncomfortable.
