It felt more like being in nature and in a neighborhood area.
Pros:

-So much greenery and a nice balcony. We heard howler monkeys, and saw Central American animals and macaws (they live there)! It was fun to just sit on the balcony.
-Close to the bus stop.
-It is off the main road, so was quieter.
-The room we stayed in was well laid out. (With a mini kitchen too).

Cons:

This isn’t a bad thing, but good to know.
-There is at least one flight of stairs to get to the rooms.
-From the main road it is up a small hill and then down a small hill.

Pros:

The room I had was good. Comfortable with good cooking facilities. Terrace was quite nice.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok but not brilliant. Little choice, unpleasant coffee and bottled juice. The person in charge was very friendly and helpful, but only there for very short periods of time.

Cons:

Les abords de l'hôtel sont sales. Odeurs désagréables dans la chambre, la salle de bains et le linge de toilette. Draps tachés. Le ménage est fait superficiellement mais nous avons trouvé un mouchoir usagé sous le lit, des insectes morts au pied des fenêtres, des traces de crasse dans tous les angles. Les carreaux des fenêtres sont sales.
C'est le seul endroit du Costa Rica où le Wi-Fi ne fonctionne pas.
La soi-disante visite guidée gratuite incluse: on vous explique ensuite que la seule rémunération du guide sont vos pourboires...

Good, clean accommodation within a bus ride to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park.
Pros:

Room was large and it had a very comfortable king-sized bed. The breakfast was excellent and served in a small outside area close to the main office. The free tour of the park was wonderful and Manfred, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable and spotted lots of animals.

Cons:

There were lots of stairs and an uneven path down to our room so we had to be careful especially at night. We had to keep the curtains drawn on our front window as people walking down the path could see in.

Friendly staff, but the place seems understaffed.
Pros:

The room was big and the bed comfortable.

Cons:

The staff member was very kind and hardworking and seemed to be managing cleaning and breakfast service by herself. Check-in took about 30 minutes when I arrived, and breakfast offers only one option. The location is about a 10-minute walk to restaurants.

L'excellent accueil de tout le personnel, la qualité extra des petits déjeuner, des conseils, l'emplacement calme et la superbe chambre à l'étage (avec en prime les perroquets et parfois les mapaches en super voisins)

Disappointment
Pros:

The room itself was spacious.
It was the only place in town that still had rooms available, by the time we booked.

Cons:

There are so many lovely parts of Manuel Antonio, places with nice pools and views of the Pacific, why would anyone want to stay at this ghetto place in the only ghetto of the town?

La terrasse extérieure, vue sur une belle végétation et les singes

Cons:

l'appartement ne correspondait pas totalement aux photos. Des prestations non disponibles alors quelles sont bien mentionnées dans l'annonce, pas de coffre fort (pas de clef), pas de télévision, soit disant les singes ont arraché les câbles!!
La douche et les interrupteurs de la chambre sont TRES sale ( voir les photos). L'appartement mériterait un bon nettoyage et un rafraichissement. Il y a eu une coupure d'eau toute la journée nous n'avons pas été informés de cette coupure alors que le personnel de la cuisine avait fait une réserve d'eau pour eux, donc ils avaient été prévenus. Les personnes chargées du petit déjeuner sont plus préoccupées par leur téléphone que par les clients.

Truly a piece of paradise
Pros:

The location on a quiet street surrounded by trees meant our balcony was a great place to view wildlife, Sitting on our second floor balcony we say capuchin monkeys, a lone old howler monkey, a large sloth hanging from a branch, several aboutis, macaws and many other birds. There was plenty of hot water and the kitchen was well enough equipped to make lunches (or a light breakfast on those days we didn't feel like the substantial one included with the room). Our room at the back was very quiet (except for the howler one night) and the bed very large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and all carried language translators on their phones when our Spanish failed us. They even did our laundry for a small fee.

Cons:

The Wifi was very good except for a few occasions when it wasn't there for an hour or so. The breakfast area was open to the street so it could be a bit noisy and might smell of exhaust--though again mostly it was a quiet area. Strangely, the bed was almost too big, nearly filling the space for it and making getting in and out tricky. Still, all minor quibbles in an otherwise excellent stay.

住みたいくらい快適でした。
