Perfect boutique hotel experience in an otherwise quite touristy part of Costa Rica
Pros:

We booked a Deluxe Double Room w Balcony & Sea View and couldn't have been happier. "Balcony" doesn't do justice to what you actually receive which is a huge sheltered terrace with sofas, rocking chair, table and hammock. The most ideal space to step out to every morning, soak in the view of the Pacific and see the monkeys and macaws who visit the hotel daily.

The pool and grounds are intimate and beautiful and fulfil the promise of the boutique hotel experience. Credit should be paid to the groundskeeping stuff who keep the environment clean, colourful and naturally stunning.

Set back and uphill from the beach so will require transport to access (cab, car, local bus - can walk but it's hard going) but this suited us perfectly as we found the centre of town quite overwhelming and a bit touristy. Plenty of lovely restaurants, cafe and shops within five minutes walk of the hotel so you're far from isolated.

Cons:

It's a small thing but the offer of juice at breakfast would have been welcome - particularly as it is crossed out on the menu so seems to have once been included.

Manuel Antonio is a delightful resort but use the local buses rather than drive to town. There are lots of false car par
Pros:

Nice swimming pool Good Wi Fi Loads of wild life. Birds monkeys all visible from balcony. AC worked well which was appreciated as air temps were 30 +

Cons:

Breakfast was poor Limited to eggs toast and rice. OR pancakes. Considering that this was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at on our holiday, it was disappointing.
The access to the rooms involves negotiating some fairly steep concrete stairs. Could be very hazardous for persons with even mild mobility problems.

RELAXING stay amongst a wild and glorious JUNGLE!
Pros:

The villa was spacious and lovely! The view was exceptional….from jungle flora to wildlife galore! Macaws and monkeys playing (and squawking)! The location is w/in walking distance to anything you may want or need. The staff was SUPERB and always eager to please! Complimentary breakfast was a bonus!

Cons:

The shower floor was a bit slick and could use a mat. The kitchen needed a few more utensils and an upgrade on cookware.

Relaxing and comfortable
Pros:

The Villas were very comfortable with nice bathrooms and wonderful terraces overlooking the jungle. As previous reviews stated the wildlife was abundant. Spider monkeys and white faced monkeys scamper about, a pair of macaws nest on the property and we even saw a sloth in the tree canopy. It was centrally located. The pool was refreshing and Dennis and Paula always had a smile.
Aquel Aqua had great lunches and views, Yolo was friendly and good, our best meal was at Si Como No. The mini mart down from there toward Manuel Antonio had the items, oat milk, coffee, sunglasses and other appealing snacks at reasonable prices.

Cons:

It was all good!

Clean, friendly staff… but not for me!
Pros:

The staff was friendly and facility was clean. Can walk ti restaurants, however have to be careful - no sidewalk and very dark on tiny roads with a lot of traffic.

Cons:

1. Bed was comfortable, however the legs are dangerous tripping hazard. Both my husband and I nearly broke our toes numerous times bc the legs stick outward.
2. There’s no beach access. Unless you walk over a mile on dangerous steep mountain road or cab it.
3. Ocean Views are obstructed by trees. 4. Pool area has very little space to sunbath- mostly shady.

Perfekter Rückzugsort, sehr nahe am Nationalpark gelegen.
Pros:

Himmlisch!

Cons:

Nichts. Es war alles sehr schön.

Exceptional place to stay.
Pros:

Wow what a great place! iv been living in costa rica for a year and this is the best iv been to so far. First the wild life was in your face. We had tribes of monkeys ( capuchin and spider) on our balcony every day (and night). just feet away grabbing stuff from us. Macaws feet away battling over nesting spots in the trees. Toucans in the trees singing as the sunsets. sloths in nearby trees. Forget the national park, just stay here. THe rooms were really comfortable, bed great, the bathroom huge and modern. WIFI was great. Balcony and views to die for. pool great, and staff great.

Cons:

Nothing really. Normally id like a tv but you just don't need one here.

Pros:
