Love this pub. The cleanliness beats many motels and the beds are so comfy.

The pub is lovely. My room was gorgeous.

good pub accommodation
Pros:

The renovation with ensuite was well done with great choice of features and look. The bed was super soft and the right size for a 5'6" bloke. Hot water was good. Ther small fridge was great with coffee/tea facilities. The room is about the size of a standard motel so bigger than most pubs. A code was used to get into the room and was also used for the front accommodation door. No noise from downstairs could be heard.

Cons:

Parking was at the back of the pub or in a carparking area next door. The AC unit did its job but although there is a remote control it only turns it on and off. There is no temperature adjustment available.

Pros:

Cons:

The water pipes banged every hour and the window was really loose letting the cold air in and the trains were really loud was unable to sleep

Good Budget Stay
Pros:

I stayed in a small ensuite room. It was basic but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The room included a kettle and a fridge, which was handy, although there was no iron or ironing board.

The staff were friendly. I also really liked the keyless entry system. Having a lockable room with a PIN code instead of a key or access card was a great feature.

Cons:

The room only had a main ceiling light and no bedside lamp. If you're a light sleeper, this may not be the best option, as the walls are fairly thin and you can hear people in neighbouring rooms coming and going.

There was also no extension lead for the kettle, so you either had to use it in the bathroom or place it on the floor near the power point. This wasn't an issue for me, but I can see how it might be inconvenient for some people.

Great value stay
Pros:

Comfortable, clean rooms. Sink ,TV, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Bar fridge and storage in each room.

Cons:

Showers are normally great but had trouble last week with no regulation of hot water🥴
