Breakfast was terrible, in the basement, no service, poor selection
Right in the center of Orvieto, close to all restaurants and historical attractions. Super friendly staff, big, comfortable room, nice breakfast.
Lovely staff, beautiful property, great location. They recommended and made a dinner reservation at an amazing restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Loved it there and Orvieto was my favorite town on my trip to Italy.
Very good
Historic property and staff is super helpful
Lovely little hotel. Huge room, but we had a suite.
Staff extremely nice and friendly. Perfect place to stay in Orvieto.
This property can be excellent but need to change the bathroom, the shower dont have anything to put the shower gel or the shampoo. The sink the water don’t running. The breakfast was excelkent.
Love my stay at this small hotel in the beautiful town of Orvieto. I had a room on the third floor with a small window that overlooked the quaint street below. Service was always offered with a smile and the location was perfect.
Great stay in a charming historic building.
Tastefully designed hotel, in a great location to feel the city vibe.
Great breakfast was offered, with so many options.
Great staff - great service and attention to details, by all!
Wish we had another night in Orvieto, and as it is close to Rome - I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you all for such a lovely experience!
Nice spot but expensive parking at 25 Euro per day. Streets in Orvieto very narrow. 2 nice restaurants nearby. Laundry around the corner
Very satisfied with this choice of hotel in Oriveto. We arrived in the evening after 9 PM. No Uber or Taxi service. we contacted the Hotel and they immediately located a driver who whisked up to this lovely property which is 5 minutes to the Square and less than 10 to the Duomo. No hesitation recommending this hotel which is just as it appears in photos and is good value.
What a beautiful little town. I arrived here around sunset and took a walk around its character full of narrow gullies. Really feel the texture of the ancient stone, the smell of beautiful food being cooked in restaurants. Really wish I spent a few more hours admiring the town.
Great service staff was great
Great hotel in former palazza. Lovely staff. Recommend. One beware: if coming by train, Google maps will tell you the train is 230 m from the funicular. This is wrong. The 230 m refers to the escalator to a parking area. The hotel is 1.3 kilometres from the top of the funicular which leaves from opposite the railway station.
From the funicular, walk up Cavour which is about 10-15 degrees on the left and is the main street. There is then one left turn about 150 m from the hotel. Use your phone.
I believe you can also catch a mini bus or a very overpriced taxi from the station but we didn’t sight either.
Lovely hotel. Very comfortable king bed & pillows. Nice shower w good pressure. Staff are fantastic. Walls a little thin. Overall, highly recommend.
Air con terrible
Great property but not easy to get around. Very friendly staff.
Loved it
It was a great stay! They have Grown Alchemist products which is a favourite of mine, I was so pleasantly surprised! The front desk, bar and breakfast staff were very friendly and extremely helpful! The hotel is in a perfect location, many amazing restaurants within a few minutes walk. I would highly recommend for solo travellers, couples and groups!
The only thing we didn't like is having only one set of keys, which, when one of us was out, made entry/egress a nuisance.
We loved all of the staff, but especially Jude, who went above and beyond in attending our every need, and Chiara, who kept our cell phone safe when one of us left it in the lobby bathroom!
