Great stay
Pros:

One of the best rooms we’ve stayed in Asia. Very spacious.
Drinking water provided and toiletries in bathroom too. Bathroom was great, shower protected by glass so the whole bathroom didn’t get wet. TV and fridge in room.
Location was good, maybe 5 mins away from night market.
Breakfast was nice, fruit everyday was lovely.

Cons:

Only reason why I’m not giving a 10/10 is that the staff were not particularly friendly, felt a like a burden to them.

Second stay and I'd come back again.
Pros:

Good location 5 minutes walk from the night markets. Enormous rooms. Reception organised tickets on the fast train to Vientiane. Breakfast is simple, a plate of fruit and a choice of 4 or 5 egg dishes, heaps of coffee.

Pros:

Absolutely lovely hotel with big comfortable rooms with all necessary facilities. The breakfast is very good and the location great. We stayed twice and will definitely be back.

Pokoje są niezwykle duże i przestronne — zdecydowanie przerosły nasze oczekiwania. Nie spodziewaliśmy się aż tak komfortowej ilości miejsca do pracy.Łazienka również zasługuje na wyróżnienie: bardzo duża, wyposażona w wygodny prysznic z szybą( dzięki czemu po prysznicu nie wchodzimy do mokrej łazienki)i stały dostęp do gorącej wody.

Ogromnym atutem są także wspaniałe śniadania . Dodatkowo lokalizacja obiektu jest bardzo dogodna — wszędzie można bez problemu dojść na piechotę.

comfortable family run hotel in good location
Pros:

lovely room. the bathroom was great, shower partition so floor was not wet by toilet. shower gel and shampoo included. bed was big and pretty comfy. the interior of the room was lovely, big wardrobe and tv (but couldn’t work out how to change language). personal fridge. windows had french shutters and net curtains so could choose how much light you wanted. side lamp by bed for evenings. good AC. family who run it are lovely, after we checked out they let us leave our bags in their reception for a few hours. laundry service, 30,000kip per kilo. the room was cleaned everyday, bed made and coffee/tea/water replaced also new towels daily (side note the cleaning produced they used smelt SO good). breakfast between 7-9. great location, very close to lots of activities - 5 minute walk to night market and there was a temple right next door. overall no issues with noise. 100% would stay again

Cons:

personally would have preferred more seasoning in the breakfast. they had lots of options though which was good. would have preferred more fruit and option to have coffee iced.

Pros:

Os funcionários do hotel são bem atenciosos e prestativos, quando precisávamos de algum favor, eles auxiliavam com rapidez. Trocaram nós de quarto na última noite, pois nosso ar não estava gelando e também nos deram dois travesseiros. O hotel disponibiliza bananas e água a vontade na recepção. O hotel tem uma localização boa, mas acaba sendo uns 15min de caminhada até os restaurantes principais. O quarto é bem espaçoso e pedimos para lavar nossas roupas, vieram bem limpas e cheirosas.

Cons:

Café da manhã muito simples, apenas selecionar um prato (omelete , pão e panqueca) um pratinho de frutas e as vezes o café era gelado. Para quem não gosta muito de andar, o hotel fica um pouco longe da rua principal. No nosso quarto o ar condicionado não gelava e tivemos que trocar de quarto. O chuveiro não tinha muita pressão e pouca água e se demorava uns 5min já começava a gelar.

They scam you
Pros:

It started well but turned out to be a scammer place.

Cons:

The hotel owners are scamming their own guests.

1. Scam: Bus tickets.
The Opera Premier Hotel sells bus-tickets which don't exist.
They sell mini-van busride to Chiang Rai, 10 hours driving.
You will end up in a local sleeping bus 18h bus ride only to the boarder.
The owners will keep lying straight to your face until you are gone.

2. Scam: Tours to Nong Khiaw
They sell tours to Nong Khiaw. But Opera Premier Hotel just copied the one pager from the official tour company and added their own prices: Average 30% on top of the original price. In the end, they would just send your detail to the tour company and charge you for this the extra 30%. A good hotel would let you pay the original price and offer the contact to the tour company as a service. Opera Premier Hotel prefers to scam their own hotel guests.

3. Scam: Motorbike
The Opera Premier Hotel wants the passport as deposit, even if you are a guest. The bike is old & damaged and did not even work but they want you to pay 2500 Dollar if you crash it. With this money, you can buy 3 brand new motorbikes.
