Lovely boutique hotel
Pros:

Lovely small hotel and very helpful staff who helped us out with a number of things over the course of our two night stay. Room was great, food was great, Turkish bath was great, etc... Was sorry to leave!

A very special hotel
Pros:

Beautiful historic boutique hotel with a lovely outdoor dining courtyard for summer in addition to an atmospheric, cosy dining room. Loved the large bedroom filled with interesting antiques and pictures. The bed was huge and comfy with a down duvet and the towels the thickest I have had in a hotel. Helpful staff spoke excellent English and we were welcomed with cool drinks and freshly baked biscuits.

Disappointed - Not for us.
Pros:

Liked the comfortable bed, most of the staff and interesting decor.

Cons:

Booking.com stated that there was onsite parking, but the parking was 500 meters away, downhill on a one way street. Not good for people with mobility issues, and it was very time consuming since we had to drive around the entire town to get back to the hotel. In addition, upon check-in, we had to fill out several forms, including an acknowledgement that check-out time was 11 a.m. and that we agreed to vacate the room before then. We have never seen that before. Also, we had to choose what we wanted for breakfast and a time slot between 8 and 10:30 a.m. Also, we had been asked via email before our stay whether we were celebrating anything special. I replied that it was my sister's birthday but when we got there, there was no mention or any notice of her birthday. I was disappointed.

Decor is different ,very comfy , delicious food

Room was spacious and different , v. Comfy , food was really good , dinner and breakfast , staff were lovely and tried to do everything for us

Cons:

Parking was v difficult , we had to order breakfast the minute we arrived the day before , and we didn’t like the choices , but they organised what we wanted , thought the organisation was a bit scatty , need to streamline breakfast , and more organised but everybody was lovely , didn’t like all the modern gadgets in room with the control boards lit up , so we had to cover the lights , rugs on floor were loose and dangerous , but a/c worked
