Comfort
No hot drink facilities in the room (kettle, biscuits…etc)
location was good and central
Breakfast was poor.
3rd floor walk-up room, #9; one night; Raphael is one of the owners.
Very nicely air conditioned room with plenty of space. Bed, couch, desk. Soft bed was comfortable plus two European style square pillows. Carpeted floor. Bathroom has wood-look tile floor, shower has hand-held nozzle. Hairdryer. Room looks out on the street below. Breakfast is continental style: croissants, rolls, juice, coffee or tea and yogurt. Butter and jam and milk for your coffee/tea if you like. Room was clean. Not fancy, but adequate lodging for a short stay. Air conditioning was good quality and very much appreciated since the temperatures in the area during this time were very, very hot.
Guests should be aware: there is no elevator; upon check-in set screw on door lock was missing so the door wouldn't lock, however upon request Raphael fixed it; upon check-in there were not towels in the room, however they were quickly provided when advised of the oversight.
overall the town is really nice to see- local with great food ( not touristy). we did not manage to reach at dinner in the restaurant but i hear it is amazing. nice small hotel
the road is noisy- so if you plan to sleep with the window open you will hear quite a few trucks
the smoking smell- now and again you can smell somebody was smoking in the room below us
