Calm nature retreat very close to Ubud attractions
Pros:

A really beautiful hotel surrounded by nature, with amazing views over the rice fields and total peace and quiet – yet still very close to Ubud, especially thanks to the free shuttle service and organized scooter rental.

Our personal highlight was definitely the pool area. It was the perfect place to completely switch off – comfortable loungers, wide views over the rice fields, and just a very relaxing atmosphere overall.

We also really liked our room, especially the open bathroom with the freestanding bathtub, which felt quite special. Waking up and looking out over the rice fields straight from bed was pretty incredible.

The breakfast was à la carte and truly excellent, also much more than we expected. We loved the avocado croissant and the smoothie bowls.

What really made the stay stand out, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. We felt very well taken care of the whole time. A big thank you to the entire team, you made our stay really special!

Lovely property
Pros:

Beautiful property, set in lovely gardens. Professional and friendly staff that provided a great service. While a little farther out from the main area of Ubud, Arya has a shuttle service. If the timetable doesn't suit a Grab will cost around $7 AUD to most restaurants, stores and spas.

Cons:

Drop off and pick up for shuttle would probably be more convenient if at the markets.

The property and the grounds are stunning, we woke to the sound of ducks every morning in the adjoining rice paddies. Wonderful. The staff couldn’t be anymore beautiful and honestly the food is next level

Pros:

The public garden is amazing. The restaurant and public pool have a beautiful view of the rice fields.
In addition, staffs are friendly & nice.

Cons:

The facilities in the room are quite old & only fairly clean. It might be due to the humid local weather — the quilt feels damp and has a musty smell. The toilets, in particular, are not clean — there are stains left on the toilet lids.
In addition, my husband’s eyes became irritated after he swam in the private pool.

Tout était parfait . Le personne a été à notre petit soin. Ils ont été super accueillant et très gentils. La chambre ainsi que la salle de bain étaient très atypiques. C’est ce qui fait le charme de cet hôtel. Tout est décoré avec soin. L’extérieur est magnifique . Nous nous sommes vraiment senti dans l’esprit balinais. Le restaurant est excellent avec des prix très corrects . Je recommande à toutes les personnes venant découvrir Bali.

Pros:

Amazing hospitality and staff. They really go out of their way to make you feel cared for and comfortable. We did have minor issues on check in like Aircon not working well but they sorted it all out very quickly. The rooms are clean and spacious. In spite of being amongst so much greenery and plants we faced no issues with insects or mosquitoes in the room or even common areas. They really do take care about all those little things. Considering we were travelling with a one year old, any request we made for our baby was looked after with a smile on their face. The massage at the spa was amazing too.

Cons:

Distance from the centre/Ubud market can be a bit too much especially during busy hours. It can take up 40 mins one way with traffic.

In our villa the toilets need to be fixed, the door needs to look, not only the paddock
About the cleaning, needed to be more deep and the spiders 🕸️ removed, the top of the master bedroom 🛏️ hasn't been cleaned for long time.

A piece of bai paradise, ideal for someone looking for some peace and quiet.

Quiet, peaceful, spacious and cozy.

Cons:

Room was a bit tighter than expected. No writing desk or much space for bags, I had a junior suite. I’m not complaining here just noticing I paid less for lots more space, but this property makes up for it in other ways
