Important information:

Please note that for reservations under the condition "Pay at the property - no prepayment needed ", the total amount of the reservation must be paid at the check-in.

Please note that the credit card used to make the payment of the reservation must be from one of the guests staying in the room. If this is not the case, please contact the hotel prior to the check-in date.

Please note that all guests, adults and children, staying at the property must show a valid identity card or passport with photo, or equivalent document (e.g. birth certificate). Minors not accompanied by their parents must have a declaration or authorization to stay, issued by the holder of rights of custody.

Please note that half board rates includes set menu (3 course) dinner and drinks are not included.

All guests staying during the nights of 24th December and 31st December have the gala dinner included. Dress code is 'formal attire'.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Absolutely amazing experience
Pros:

Stunning bay views from the balcony of the room and the whole territory is a gem. Excellent service. Delicious breakfasts, good location, room, and many other small details.

Geweldig, mooi uitzicht en heel lief personeel
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, heel goed ontbijt en eten in de Rose garden was echt heerlijk. Mensen waren ook heel lief en service gericht

Cons:

Kamers zijn iets gedateerd, kussens van het bed waren erg zacht.

Beautiful in every way. The Cliff Bay is the only hotel I would return to! Fantastic breakfast as well.
Pros:

The property was stunning! There were plenty of options for seating, restaurants and pools.

Cons:

I didn’t like that the pools were closed at 8pm. That was very disappointing to me.

Localização e vista fenomenal
Pros:

A vista para o Funchal e para o mar. Excelente localização e instalações bastante cuidadas

Cons:

De manhã o serviço de mini bar e limpeza abriam as portas do quarto caso não respondêssemos imediatamente e faziam-no demasiado cedo! Eram 7.30h e tínhamos pessoal a bater à porta!

Cons:

Przesłany link do rezerwacji parkingu oraz restauracji nie działał. W trakcie check-in poprosiłem o rozmowę z menagerem, ale przez tydzien nikt ze mna nie rozmawial. Musielismy przez 3 dni parkowac na publicznym parkingu i nie mielismy rezerwacji w restauracji Michelin. Słabe śniadania w tej ostatniej restauracji, obsługa w niej fatalna, na wszystko trzeba było czekać. Jedliśmy w normalnej restauracji, gdzie był wielokrotnie lepszy bufet.

The experience in Medeira at the Cliff Bay will be a memory we share together and with our family and friends!
Pros:

We loved the serenity of the gardens amplified by the beautiful Sea and the impeccable detail to design of the property. The entire staff was incredible they were welcoming, engaging and helpful in every way.
