Amazing unique treehouse experience
Pros:

We had the most wonderful stay at the property. The treehouse was an amazing and unique experience! We got to see monkeys up close who came and sat on our balcony.
The location is perfect! We were very close to the town centre, but down a nice quiet road, completely surrounded by nature! It was the best of both worlds.
We were made a wonderful breakfast each morning, which was always varied, so we got to try new things each day. The family were lovely and have a very friendly dog and cat!
I cannot recommend this place enough!

Wir würden diese Unterkunft definitiv erneut buchen und absolut weiterempfehlen!
Pros:

Die Familie ist super sympathisch und sehr aufmerksam! Die Lage ist auch top!
Das Zimmer ist zwar etwas klein, hat aber alles was man benötigt.
Zudem wird ein Kochkurs angeboten (gegen Aufpreis von 4.500 LKR - super fair!)
Das Frühstück ist MEGA! Es hat uns wunderbar geschmeckt
Das erste Mal auf unserer Reise war das Bett bequem! Man konnte super schlafen.

Cons:

Aufgrund der Feuchtigkeit in der Region riecht es im Zimmer etwas nach Feuchtigkeit. Es hat uns allerdings nicht wirklich gestört.

Petit déjeuner très bien et copieux

Cons:

Dommage qu’on ne puisse pas accéder en voiture.
Pas de penderie ni de table, ni rien pour accrocher les vêtements.
La chambre n’étais pas très propre, plein d’insectes sur le lit, la moustiquaire et le long des murs

Sehr nette Familie gewesen, Räumlichkeit in Ordnung bei wenigen Ansprüchen.
Pros:

Es war nahe am Zentrum und den wesentlichen Aktivitäten in Ella. Alles zu Fuß super erreichbar. Bett war bequem und sauber. Sehr freundliche Familie mit verspieltem Hund. Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und gut. Warmes Wasser vorhanden gewesen. Mal ein Insekt im Zimmer ist meiner Meinung hier in Sri Lanka normal.

Cons:

Leider sehr hellhörig gewesen. Sowohl von der Familie nebenan durchgehend jedes Wort gehört als auch jegliche Geräusche von außerhalb - Party Musik einer Bar, besonders viel Hundegebell und -gejaul bis in die Nacht hinein. Das war sehr störend. Raum war etwas feuchter als mir bisher bekannt, habe aber keinen Schimmel entdeckt. Preis pro Nacht etwas zu teuer für den Zustand der Räumlichkeit.

Pros:

Délicieux petit déjeuner. Lit confortable et petite terrasse devant avec un hamac. Chambre loin de l'agitation de la rue principale d'Ella mais à distance à pieds pratique des principaux endroits à visiter.

Cons:

La chambre était assez sale, beaucoup de fourmis surtout dans la salle de bain. Wifi non fonctionnel. On peut trouver bien mieux pour le même prix (voir moins cher!). Le mur qui sépare de la maison principale est comme du papier, et on entend même les ronflements des habitants... L'habitation est au bout d'une ruelle extrêmement pentue et sans aucune lumière.

Я по ошибке забронировала на сутки раньше, и хозяйка простила мне эту ошибку, не взяла оплату. Очень удобное расположение.

Мне пришлось отказаться от этого жилья, потому что комната была тесная и не чистая.

Wij verbleven in de boomhut en dit was een geweldige ervaring. De eigen badkamer is op de begane grond en is erg schoon. De locatie is naast het centrum van Ella.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful hostess. The location was very good and central. The room was small but okay. The last 30 m are very steep but no problem for people who come to Ella to hike. The breakfast was great. Thanks for everything.

Guest house parfaite ,mais ville bruyante, grouillant de touristes et polluée par les centaines de bus, voitures et Tukt
Pros:

L’établissement est calme en retrait de la rue principale. La chambre est très propre et dispose d’une très jolie terrasse extérieure. Le personnel est très agréable, et les petits déjeuners sont bons.

Cons:

Rien concernant cette Guest house, mais je ne remettrai jamais les pieds à Ella ,totalement dénaturée par un tourisme de masse, excessivement bruyante, et très polluée ,ce qui est le comble pour une petite bourgade de montagne.

Tree House and budget rooms.
Pros:

This is probably the best budget stay in Ella. It is very quiet and peaceful, but also very close to the town facilities. PLEASE NOTE that the property now features a Tree House and that this is referred to on Booking.com as a Queen Room with Balcony. If you want to book the Tree House, you must book the Queen Room, and that is why the price is higher for the Queen Room. You can see photos of the Tree House by tapping on Queen at the top of the photo gallery.
We had booked the standard double and found ourselves surrounded by jungle nature in peace and tranquility. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful and both the breakfast (included free) and the dinner were wonderful. We extended our stay from two days to four and wished we could have stayed longer.

Very good
Pros:

Very pleasant hotel in quiet location about 100m from main street. Surrounded by trees which gave it a rural feel. My double room was excellent - clean, huge comfortable bed with mosquito net and wall mounted fan. Private bathroom was clean and spacious with a very good hot shower. Towels provided. Fridge just outside the door too which was very welcome.
Good location near the shops and restaurants. Railway station only about 10-15 mins walk depending how much luggage you are carrying

Cons:

WiFi connection did not provide internet access for most of my stay. A message appeared saying the broadband subscription had not been paid. This was rectified on my last night but the WiFi was very slow.
When I booked the hotel it said breakfast was included but no breakfast was ever offered. Never mind, there was a good cheap non tourist place just opposite when you walk on to the main road
