Super sweet and nice family. Really nice stay, great location (although outside Sapa town but surrounded by nature). The bungalow is build really nice from wood, also basic. We liked it a lot, it is really value for money. Simple (mostly cold) shower.
We would have liked some lounge chairs outside to hang out. Now we went to the closest restaurant, which is really close, to hang out and have lunch and drinks.
The location is beautiful and the bungalow is really cozy. The staff is very responsive and friendly.
I decided to book the one day trek with lunch included for 20 USD. I got picked up at 9:00am, but by 11:30 I was already back at the homestay. I was very confused as to why it only lasted two hours.
I then was asked if I wanted to have lunch (which was supposedly included in the price?). They ended up charging me an extra 50.000 for lunch.
The tour was really not good for what I paid, considering some people got a full day tour for that price. I genuinely do not understand why the people from past reviews received such a different and better experience than me. I am extremely disappointed and felt taken advantage of. I ended up leaving a night early.
The rooms are nice and the view is good
It was difficult to find the staff so for check in and check out that was a bit of a hassle. And I had some issues with my booking because the dorm bed I booked wasn’t available even though I got a confirmation from booking.com. So I had to pay for a private room but i didn’t get a key for the room for the first night because they didn’t have it… All in all the property is nice but the management wasn’t on point.
Beautiful views from the nice bungalow. Would highly recommend doing the 2 day 1 night trekking tour!!
I loved the little bungalows which were placed right next to a rice field! Stunning view. Unfortunately we came during the winter, but I imagine it’s even more beautiful during the summer season. And the host is so helpful and nice. They even helped us get in touch with a guide for the Hi Giang loop tour.
It was a bit hard to get warm in the night in the bungalow as there wasn’t much heating, but the host was so nice and gave us extra duvets and a heater.
The location and the hospitality was really good.
The village is amazing and very kind people working in the Homestay.
The blankets and sheets could be a bit cleaner.
I booked the private bungalow which was nice. You have a good view on the surrounding area and the room itself is clean. However there is no heating which means that it can get cold during the winter time.
The Homestay is quite far away from Sapa town which means that you need to get a taxi to get to the Homestay. I ended up paying 200000dong one way (half the price of the bus from Hanoi to Sapa), so just something to put into consideration. Food is not included and the food at the Homestay is not the cheapest.
Great host, very sweet and helpful - we booked the 6 bed room, but there was just 1 wall and then just curtains, so it was loud. It was very cold, a good idea to light up the fireplace for the sake of the tourists. We Got a really nice herbal foot bath 👌🙏 I would recommend the place to orders who wants a authentic place
It was very cold
Gorgeous views from the bungalow. Everything is new. Chanh was a wonderful host. She lit a camp fire in the evening and everyone mingled and drank around it. She gave us some free water for our journey.
We booked a 2D1N homestay trek with someone else, but the accommodation was just a dingy smelly hostel with mattresses on the floor and not an authentic family experience.
Chanh said she also does trekking and combined with stays at her bungalows for a much cheaper rate! Do ask upon booking.
The water alternated from scolding hot to freezing cold every few seconds while I took a shower.
The room is clean, the view is breath taking. The bungalow owner is very friendly and taught me alot about the local's tradition. I love this place!
Very nice view, the host was super helpful and the dishes were great
This village becomes dark early because traffic lights are turned off. Actually it feels safe but I'm still worried about dogs
