This is one of the places that are so unique that you wish to maintain it a secret for you and your beloved ones! Everything here is perfect, every detail is carefully curated to combine heritage and modern commodities. The hosts and the staff do know very well what high hospitality standards mean and you won’t be disappointed. The location is also so convenient: out from the buzz, but at an easy 10 min drive from Bruneck, the slopes and all the fabulous hiking trails.

Our three-day stay was beyond perfect. The breathtaking views, the incredible hospitality of Walter, and the magical atmosphere made us feel like we were staying in a castle. The perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort created an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was also amazing, with delicious food and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

한국분들 강추에용 진짜 숙소 너무너무너무 예쁘고요.. 고성이지만 현대적으로 리모델링 다 되어있어서 특색 있는 경험을 할 수 있습니다. 한국분들이 주로 관광하는 세체다, 트레치메 등 주요 관광지와는 차로 1시간 ~1시간 30분 거리라서 조금 멀지만, 중간에 쉬어가는 코스로 넣으면 참 좋을 것 같아요. 호텔 내 식당은 없지만 조리시설이 되어있어서 저희는 라면 끓여먹었어용. 사우나, 풀도 관리 잘 되어있고 헬스장도 작지만 알차게 있을 거 다 있어요.
아침에 방으로 조식을 가져다주시는데 다 알차고 맛있었어요... 코스와 단품메뉴 중 선택할 수 있는데 단품으로 먹고싶은거 다 시키시는것을 추천해여. 게다가 사장님 부부, 직원분들 다 정말정말 친절합니다요. 또 가고싶어요 강강추 ~
It was truly a wonderful experience.
This hotel is a beautifully restored 1,000-year-old castle, and you can immediately tell how much love, care, and attention the owners have put into every detail. The perfect balance between preserving its historic charm and adding modern comfort made the stay feel truly unique.
Everything was wonderful—from the welcome drink and the sauna to the pool with breathtaking mountain views and the breakfast delivered directly to our room. The gym was small, but it was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a workout. It wasn't just the facilities that impressed us; the entire experience felt special and memorable.
Although it's a little farther from some of the Dolomites' most popular attractions, I actually think it's the perfect place to slow down, relax, and recharge during your trip.
Most importantly, the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. We were genuinely disappointed that we couldn't extend our stay because of our travel itinerary. If you're planning a trip to the Dolomites, I couldn't recommend this place more highly!
The only minor downside is that there isn't an on-site restaurant. However, since it's a residence-style hotel, you can prepare your own meals if needed, and the staff were happy to help us book dinner at nearby restaurants, so it wasn't an issue at all.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip! It is such a beautiful property and the amenities are very luxurious. It's a small business owned by very attentive and hospitable property owners who have deep connections to the local community. These details made our trip so special and we will absolutely be planning our visit back to Castel Maurn very soon!

SPA is amazing and the host is very welcoming.
The hotel is new fully renovated within the Dolomites. Location is very close to all major attractions such as lakes hikes small villages etc. Owners are amazing and very welcoming, they give attention to every detail and want you to have a great time in their hotel. We liked the sauna and generally the spa, the breakfast served in the room every day, the outdoor pool. Our room was very spacious and classy. The owner even helped us to fix our car that was broken!
I absolutely loved place. We had splendid time there.
