The property has only 2 parking spots for 31 rooms. We arrived at almost midnight and guests were listening to loud music at the pool without regard to sound for those trying to rest. The room had no towels and only tiny thin blankets at the foot of each bed. They did give us a few more thin blankets when we asked. It was clean, though, and aside from the blanket issue, the beds were comfortable enough. My son slept on the top bunk where the A/C unit was situated a couple inches above him with the ceiling a couple feet from his head, so he was cold for part of the night

D’après ce que j’ai compris ça change de propriétaire, ils étaient en train de refaire les peintures d’animaux. Y a de l’idée, ça pourrait être très chouette, puis y a des trucs très limite. Genre la literie est incroyable, les serviettes les plus moelleuses au monde, et un tapis nen sortie de bain sale et déchiré. Pleins de trucs comme ça. Mais si ils le corrigent ça sera très chouette. J’y suis restée une nuit, le bruit de la route ça allait

La piscina está descuidada y sucia con moho de color verde.
En el área común del bar y cocina, hay goteras que vienen de las habitaciones del segundo piso, y no se sabe si es del baño o del servicio o dónde, y cuando uno está comiendo y le caen esas gotas desagradables por cualquier lado.
Los paños están manchados.

Personnel très gentil, propreté et installation correct du point de vue que c’était dans les plus bas prix. Seul déception l’hôtel n’était pas situé au bonne endroit indiqué sur le site… Très près de la plage mais plus loin du centre!

This was the second time we stayed at this place.The first time was good but this time - not so good. the sheets and towels were not clean. room cleanliness overall needs to improve. pillows had stains and blanket was not clean. Toilet in both rooms were dirty. Had a ring inside around them and when lifted, it was dirty. After the first night we had to change room because there were bugs in the room and bathroom was too dirty. my husband had to keep killing them. I would not stay there again. This is our 5th time in Jaco, the only disappointment was the hotel.

Property is exactly as expected. It’s a hostel hotel, private and non private rooms. Staff was limited in English but with today’s apps not an issue. Beach walk to center of Jaco in 10-15 mins. We had a private room. Beds are hard, room is super basic, and small, private bathroom was clean but also definitely in need of updates.
Weekends tend to be more lively (noisy) however it wasn’t late. Pretty quiet after 11. Lots of San Jose families tend to flock to the beaches on weekends. Everyone was super friendly. Easy access to the beach, Aloha beach bar nearby great for breakfast.
All in all. If you know what you’re getting into it’s perfectly fine. We basically used it to shower and sleep. Served us well. Just don’t expect much.

When we checked in, from outside we thought it would not be a good clean place but we were wrong. The room was very clean. Property was down the strip away from all the traffic and noise but walkable to general tourist area strip. The beach is around the corner. They have a lobby with microwave and fridge that can be used. Plan your day because they will not allow earlier check in than 2pm. We were willing to pay an extra fee but check in time was firm although we’re were the only tourist there. The staff at desk that checked us in was very personable. Price was very reasonable for accommodation received. I would stay again if ever in the area.

Attractive: nice design/style. Needed a little attention to maintenance issues: light bulbs missing/not working, towel bar broken. Broken bath window handle so you couldn't close it and keep the a/c in.

The actual location of the hotel is about a mile away from the location shown on Expedia. I booked the hotel to be in town close to restaurants, coffee, shops, etc but had to walk about an hour (round trip) to get to town & back.
I also had to ask for a towel, toilet paper & soap. The wifi was hit & miss

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft am Rand von Jaco. Unkomplizierter Check-In. Wegen der Lage am Stadtrand ruhig. Aktuell allerdings wegen Baulärm ab 6.00 Uhr morgens unangenehm laut. Wir haben uns trotzdem wohl gefühlt. Warme Dusche. Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar. Schöner Strand in der Nähe.

We had a room over the front street, there was a bit of street noise but probably better than closer to the pool with the music. You also get a table and chairs outside these 2 rooms. Shared kitchen was very clean, they could use some spoons 😉

Pool was awesome, quite warm. There is definitely an ant problem pool side, kinda creepy. Nice restaurant almost right next store, less than a five minute walk to the beach.

The google map on this site is incorrect, the hotel is on the south end of the beach, not the north.

We only stayed one night, the rooms were clean. Parking isnt the best, only enough for 3 cars. We didnt have space to park but its okay to park on the street.

Never cleaned my room in three days, only cold shower the first day. They had a rule that you can’t bring alcohol to your room because they have a bar, didn’t open the three days I was there. Staff was hardly around

I have to ask for breakfast even it’s indicated that it’s included. They gave me the breakfast for free, but only because I ask for it. Over all, it’s a great place if you have a car or want a place near the beach far from Jaco’s center.

I wanted to give this property five stars however I was disappointed to find out that it is not as close to the center of town as the map states, and that was one of the major reasons why I booked it. We did have to walk about 15 minutes to get to the main center of town, however if you have a car that won’t be a major issue. That being said it is a short walk to the beach and the rooms were clean , staff was super friendly and helpful with tours, and we really enjoyed the pool. We also noticed that the hotel is very family friendly, and appreciated that there was a restaurant super close by with amazing food and drinks.

This hotel was great! The rooms were clean and had A/C. The pool area was very nice.
