The stay itself was fine, but the check-in experience was disappointing.

Before arriving, I informed the hotel that I would arrive at around 6:00 pm. I was told that a surcharge would apply because reception is only open from 2:00–4:00 pm. I repeatedly asked the hotel to confirm the exact amount of this surcharge before my arrival, but they never answered the question directly.

When I arrived, I was checked in first, and only then was I presented with the final invoice, which included an additional €20 late check-in surcharge. This was the first time the exact amount was communicated to me, despite my having asked for it several times in advance. I believe guests should be told the amount of any additional charges before they arrive, not after they have already checked in.

During our discussion, I also received conflicting explanations about the fee. Initially, I was told it was because someone had to return to the hotel outside reception hours to check me in. Later, I was told that Booking.com charged the surcharge instead. These explanations were inconsistent and only added to the confusion.

What disappointed me most was the attitude of the receptionist. When I questioned why the exact fee had never been disclosed in advance, he told me that if I wanted to cancel my booking and find another hotel, I was welcome to do so. Rather than addressing a reasonable question about an additional charge, his response came across as dismissive and unprofessional.

I have no objection to hotels charging an after-hours check-in fee if it is clearly communicated in advance. My concern is the lack of transparency. If you are planning to arrive outside the hotel's 2:00–4:00 pm reception hours, be aware that a €20 late check-in surcharge will be added. I simply believe the hotel should clearly inform guests of this amount before arrival when they specifically ask.

Un séjour agréable dans un hôtel bien etretenu et pratique, proche du centre et de la mer.
Pros:

La disponibilité pour un court séjour en période estivale. Le calme à deux pas du centre dans une station balnéaire. Le côté commun et convivial.

Cons:

L’absence d’offre de petit déjeuner. L’environnement trop lumineux entre la lumière extérieure et la sortie de secours dans la chambre.

Een heerlijke en comfortabele tussenstop tijdens onze reis naar Marokko.

De kamers waren zeer netjes en modern, met heerlijke en comfortabele bedden. Ideaal om goed uit te rusten tijdens onze reis.
