Sometimes the shower was tepid rather than hot.
No lights on the stairway to our room. Had to use flashlight to get to our room at night. Old dated worn out furniture that needed to be replaced.
This is a truly fabulous place to stay while you are going on tiger safaris in Ranthambore National Park area. The location is central, the many trees on the property make it very peaceful and the food is delicious. The rooms and buildings are a little rundown but work is in progress to update them and the fantastic staff more than make up for any facilities shortcomings. From the very beginning we had fantastic service - before we even arrived. The front desk helped secure our safari permits and overcome challenges to purchasing by a foreigner in India, and arrange private car transfer to and from their hotel to our other destinations. We had a few minor challenges with our room but the Housekeeping staff led by Srivpal Singh and then the supervisor for our room Surendra Tanwar always responded immediately and with incredible friendliness and courtesy. Last but not least the incredible dining room staff led by Devi Shankar made every meal a joy. I heartily recommend this hotel and its people!

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The gardens were lovely. The staff were helpful in organising us a safari!
The property could use some maintenance, the rooms are not quite as pictured. The resturant has limited choices. The wifi did not work unless you were in reception. I felt the property was expensive for what it delivered.
