Er zat misschien wat veel chloor in het water waardoor je de bodem niet eens kon zien.

La struttura è fatiscente, le foto presenti in Booking non rispecchiano la realtà. Entrata inesistente che sembrava portasse a una discarica di lamiere, piscina torbida e sporca, le strutture a bordo piscina completamente rotte, giardino incolto, reception con intonaco rovinato e non è una reception: è un bancone in una stanza diroccata.
Quando siamo entrate nelle camere la giovane signora ha spruzzato del deodorante per coprire odore di chiuso e di muffa. Noi abbiamo prenotato due camere di cui una non aveva il bagno con porta e si trovava direttamente sulla camera da letto. Dal momento che è stato pagato come un vero hotel nella media di Gili e non come un ostello la qualità risulta essere molto scandente. Per 100 euro in più rispetto al prezzo pagato in questa struttura ( che non è stato poco) abbiamo preso una villa privata con piscina personale e servizi in villa.
Dobbiamo però dire che il proprietario, in fase di check out si è scusato e ha assicurato il rimborso dei soldi. Li stiamo ancora aspettando.

No hot water
Bright light in the room you can not turn it off!

Unfortunately, our experience at this property wasn’t what we had hoped for. While the staff and host were friendly and helpful, and provided good recommendations for local activities, the accommodation itself had several issues that affected our comfort.

The walls were extremely thin, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms. Curtains were see-through, which meant the room was bright from around 6:30 AM, making it hard to sleep in. We could also hear the 5 AM call to prayer clearly from the room — something to keep in mind for light sleepers.

The bathroom had no door, which made privacy impossible. The blanket provided was only a light throw, and not warm or comfortable enough for a restful night.

Breakfast was also disappointing. We ordered poached eggs and waited 40 minutes, but only one dish arrived. My husband’s never came, and we eventually had to leave to eat elsewhere as we couldn’t wait any longer.

Overall, while we appreciated the kindness of the staff, the lack of basic comfort and privacy means we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Owner was nice, can’t comment about other rooms but room I was given was badly converted storage room. Not secure, curtains did not cover windows, very poor finish, room was advertised as double deluxe, it certainly was not, was told I would be refunded but have not received

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and unfortunately, we can't say it was a pleasant stay.
Problems started right away – upon arrival, we were informed that the water pump had broken and there would be no hot water, but we were assured it would be fixed "by tomorrow." Unfortunately, the issue was never mentioned again, and the water remained cold for our entire stay. We understand that hot water is not always standard on the Gili Islands – but that makes it even more important to clearly state this on the property's booking page. After reading other reviews on Booking.com, it became apparent that this excuse is frequently used, which raises concerns about the owner's honesty.

The room we received also left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was in very poor condition. The door didn’t close properly, which allowed insects to get inside. It felt like the room hadn’t been cleaned before our arrival. The equipment and amenities did not match the description provided online.

Owner – for two evenings, he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. We’re open-minded, well-traveled people, and we know that things aren't always perfect – but this lack of professionalism was simply off-putting. After all, the host is the face of the property.

On a positive note, the staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were also very tasty and one of the few things we genuinely enjoyed.

To sum up: we don’t expect luxury for this price, but basic standards – like cleanliness, honesty, and consistency with the listing – should absolutely be maintained.

I did like anything about this property. This should remove from booking.com as after this incident happened I am thinking not to book anything with booking.com. You should do investigation/inspection before you advise any business on your booking.com. We had a terrible experience with this Villa owner who ruined our holidays trip
