Pros:

Gospodarz otwarty i przyjazny.

Cons:

W łazience był tylko papier toaletowy. Nie było podstawowego środka do kąpieli czyli mydła. Był aneks kuchenny, w którym za podgrzanie wody trzeba było płacić 1 RM. Obiekt oddalony jest od Parku - ok. 30 minut pieszo.. Gospodarz oferował zawiezienie/odebranie z parku za 5 RM od osoby. W pokoju są tylko wiatraki.

Perfect host, lovely traditional long house, large rooms
Pros:

James (property owner, breakfast chef and transport ) and Undi (Guide) were knowledgeable, friendly, informative and helpful. Even when returning to the tiny Mulu airport, they gave advice on check in/baggage etc. Our rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked by James. Lunch also prepared and packed for us. it magically appeared in the middle of a cave tour. My husband had a poor stomach. James advised on which product to buy from the local shop. He gave us a lift there to get it.

Cons:

Everything was as expected and described. Maybe better lighting would be good in the communal dining area so we could play cards in the evening, but this is in no way a complaint as we had a wonderful time

Really lovely homestay with a great host, James. Had an amazing time in Mulu and hope to come back some day!

Cons:

Location is a little bit far by foot to the national park especially in the afternoon sun but James offers lifts to and from the park for 5rm pp

De vriendelijke,behulpzame en attente gastheer James. De ruime kamer .

Cons:

Dat op zondag alle eet gelegenheden dicht waren. Behalve Mulu cafe. Maar daar kan James natuurlijk niets aan doen.

Pros:

Perfekter Service. James hat sich immer die Zeit genommen uns alles zu Erklären, bot an uns für RM5 überall hin zu fahren und war sonst auch immer ein netter Gesprächspartner.

Pros:

James, der Vermieter, war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wenn man wollte, fuhr er einen (5RM) zum Park und holte einen auch wieder ab.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war minimalistisch. Kein Schrank, kein Tisch, keine Ablagemöglichkeit, keine Kleiderbügel (nur ein paar Haken an der Tür)

Tolle Unterkunft, um die Einwohner vor Ort zu unterstützen!
Pros:

James ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der einen jederzeit zum Park fährt und auch wieder abholt. Außerdem hält er einen über die Umgebung auf dem Laufenden, wie wenn manche Shops außerplanmäßig öffnen oder schließen.

Séjour très sympa loin de la civilisation
Pros:

Brenda et James sont aux petits soins. C’est confortable avec un minimum. Le parc national est super bien aménagé

Visiting Mulu
Pros:

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to James and Brenda, the owners of Mulu Village Homestay, for their warm and thoughtful hospitality. Whether to foreign visitors or locals, they welcome everyone with warmth, friendliness, and genuine sincerity.

Brenda, a professionally licensed guide, carefully arranged a detailed itinerary for us and led us to make full use of every moment to explore and uncover the mysterious beauty of Mulu.

James also took great care of us by preparing breakfast, sharing useful information about Mulu, and driving us to the different places.

In addition, the stilt longhouse style of Mulu Village Homestay allowed us to experience the authentic daily living style of the local residents.

Fireflies could be seen just a few minutes’ walk from Mulu Village.

Cons:

It was quite hot during the day when we visited at the end of March. Only a handful of cafés in Mulu were open.

Pros:

Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren vor acht Jahren schon hier und freuten uns riesig, dass es das Mulu Village immer noch gibt. James und Brenda sind sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sie machen alles, damit sich die Gäste wohl fühlen. Da die Unterkunft ca. 30 Gehminuten vom Eingang zum Mulu Nationalpark liegt, brachte und holte uns James jeden Tag gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden sofort wieder dort hin.

Cons:

Es gibt nur kaltes Wasser zum duschen. Das hat uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört, da es eine tolle Abkühlung nach heissen Tagen ist.
