Ein außergewöhnlich modernes, hervorragend ausgestattetes Hotel in bester Lage, das mit hohem Komfort und ausgezeichnete
Pros:

Das Hotel überzeugt durch seine hervorragende Lage mitten in Altensteig. Von hier aus lassen sich viele wichtige Anlaufpunkte bequem zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto erreichen. Besonders praktisch ist die hauseigene Tiefgarage.

Überraschend ist die außergewöhnlich hochwertige und moderne Ausstattung des gesamten Hauses. Als wir erfuhren, dass an dieser Stelle ursprünglich ein rund 400 Jahre altes Gebäude stand, das nicht mehr sinnvoll renoviert werden konnte und deshalb durch einen vollständigen Neubau ersetzt wurde, erklärte sich uns auch der bemerkenswert moderne Standard.

Unser geräumiges Eckzimmer war ausgesprochen komfortabel eingerichtet. Besonders positiv fielen uns die individuell für jedes Fenster steuerbaren elektrischen Rollläden auf. Auch das großzügige Badezimmer mit großer Regendusche, Tageslicht und eigenem elektrischem Rollladen überzeugte. Hinzu kamen eine angenehme Fußbodenheizung sowie ein Fernseher mit sehr guter Bild- und Tonqualität.

Sogar eine Gemeinschaftsküche steht den Gästen zur Verfügung, die wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben.

Ein weiteres Highlight ist das zum Hotel gehörende Bistro. Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen und waren sowohl von der hervorragenden Küche als auch von der ausgezeichneten Getränkeauswahl begeistert. Die jeweiligen Öffnungszeiten sollte man allerdings vorab erfragen.

Auf das Frühstück haben wir wegen eines frühen Termins verzichtet und können es deshalb nicht beurteilen.

Insgesamt bietet das Hotel eine außergewöhnlich schöne Kombination aus zentraler Lage, moderner Architektur, hochwertiger Ausstattung und hohem Wohnkomfort. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und kann seinen Aufenthalt wirklich genießen.

Cons:

Wirklich negative Punkte haben wir während unseres Aufenthalts nicht festgestellt.

Etwas ungewöhnlich ist lediglich der Check-in, der normalerweise im Bistro stattfindet, sofern keine andere Vereinbarung getroffen wurde. Das ist allerdings eher eine organisatorische Besonderheit als ein Nachteil.

Bei der Preisgestaltung sind wir etwas hin- und hergerissen. Die Zimmerpreise sind angesichts der gebotenen Qualität keineswegs überzogen und die Ausstattung rechtfertigt durchaus einen entsprechenden Preis. Allerdings fällt uns grundsätzlich auf, dass das Hotelpreisniveau in dieser Region vergleichsweise hoch ist. Ähnlich ausgestattete Zimmer haben wir selbst in größeren Städten häufig schon günstiger gebucht.

Das ist jedoch keine spezifische Kritik an diesem Hotel. Die gebotene Leistung stimmt, und wir hatten zu keinem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl, für unser Geld zu wenig zu bekommen.

Guter Aufenthalt
Pros:

Die Zimmer und vor allem das Bad waren extrem sauber und modern eingerichtet. Der Check-In und -Out waren easy und unkompliziert.

Cons:

Die WLAN Verbindung hat nicht bis in den zweiten Stock gereicht. Wenn man ein Zimmer auf der Straßenseite hat ist es sehr laut nachts. Wir konnten nicht mit offenem Fenster schlafen, was im Sommer bei der Hitze wirklich schwierig ist.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, das Zimmer hat mir sehr gut gefallen, wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, wie z.B. ein Photo von Altensteig in schwarz und grau Tönen auf der Duschtür..

There was no mini-fridge; you can use the communal kitchen fridge, but it's more inconvenient.

Sehr empfehlenswert in Altensteig
Pros:

Schönes geräumiges Zimmer, sehr ruhig mit hochwertig schalldichten Fenstern, geschmackvolle Einrichtung, tolle Regendusche, sehr günstige Lage in der Ortsmitte.
