The location of this flat is excellent! It was easily within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, museums, parks, and Casco Viejo. The room has a great little balcony that I enjoyed sitting on in the evenings, listening to the sounds of people at the restaurants on the street below. The room was very comfortable, and the en suite bathroom was a very generous size. Though I did not have access to the rest of the flat, I felt very "at home" there.
The owner was very friendly and responsive and met me at the door of the building to show me to the flat and hand me the keys. Communication with the owner through Booking.com was easy and convenient.
The only thing I would count as a downside to this location is that the room itself did not have a lock on it (that I saw or was aware of). A safe was provided to store my passport and other valuables while I was out, and I felt very comfortable in the flat and confident the owner respected my privacy, but this is just something to know/be aware of if you are thinking about staying here.
La habitación estaba muy bien ubicada, en todo el centro de Bilbao. Y Begoña, la dueña de la casa muy simpática.
Lo que menos me gusto es que la habitación no tuviera aire acondicionado ni un pestiño para cerrar la haabitacióm tanto desde dentro como desde fuera.
Prachtige locatie midden in het centrum. Heerlijke bedden, en een prima badkamer. Als je de deur uitloopt sta je meteen tussen de pinxtos barretjes en winkels. Geweldig om de dag af te sluiten.
We hadden vooraf niet in de gaten dat we een kamer (met eigen badkamer) in het appartement van de verhuurder hadden. Was verder geen probleem hoor, hebben geen problemen gehad. Tip: Als je met de auto bent, parkeer bij de universiteit (als je meerdere dagen gaat - bij ons was dat 34 euro voor 4 dagen), en neem een taxi naar het appartement. (Kostte ons 8 euro) Je kunt met de auto niet tot de deur van het app. komen, en de parkeerplaatsen in het centrum zijn een stuk duurder.
Posizione, pulizia e accoglienza
Een ontzettende lieve gastvrouw, het was hier brandschoon. Fijne waaiers voor de warmte, en een schattig balkonnetje. Super bedden, kraakheldere lakens, en aan alles is gedacht. De gastvrouw regelde een taxi voor ons, en wenste ons om ons om half 5 in de ochtend een goede reis. Hier heb je in Bilbao een top plek! Grote aanrader!

The location was great, and we loved the balcony
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist genial.Das Guggenheim Museum ist fußläufig nur 700m entfernt,die sehenswerte Altstadt nur etwas weiter.In der Straße selbst gibt es etliche Möglichkeiten um ein Frühstück,Menü del Dia oder Abendessen zu günstigen Preisen einzunehmen.Das Zimmer liegt übrigens im 4.Stock,der Lift funktioniert,das Bad ist geräumig,die Dusche funktioniert prächtig,Fernsehen ist in spanischer und englischer Sprache möglich.Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich und flexibel.Wir waren sehr früh dort bzw. sind erst spät abgeflogen.Unser Gepäck konnten wir trotzdem dort aufbewahren.
Wenn wir wieder nach Bilbao kommen sollten dann nur zu Begonia !!!

Fijn dat we de koffers vóór de inchecktijd konden afgeven.
Bezienswaardigheden en eetgelegenheden op wandelafstand.
Ruime badkamer. Goed geluidsisolerend raam. Fijn bed en fijne kussens. Balkonnetje met twee stoeltjes en tafeltje.
Een waterkoker op de kamer zou fijn zijn geweest.
I liked absolutely everything - the location very convenient, central and safe, the room is beautiful cozy and packed with literary everything that you might need, I also loved the small balcony with sunset urban views. As a single girl I also liked that the host was staying in the same apartment, it gave the feeling of safety. I didn't see her much, but she was very responsive in whatsapp. She is a very nice woman, and I felt like home :)
One of the evenings was quite noisy because there're some bars on that street and people celebrated something. Closing the window helped a bit, but had to use earplugs. The other evening was quiet and nice
