Ok, not outstanding.
Pros:

Breakfast was very basic, room and bathroom were adequate.

Cons:

This was a home set up for 4-5 bedrooms to rent out. Unfortunately parking in the driveway is not sufficient for the number of rooms they want to rent out. I asked if I could park on the street and they said no.

Cozy, welcoming, house rules aside it’s a great spot
Pros:

Serj was such a kind gentleman
Helped me park my car and introduced us to his dog
Was a bit skeptical given the reviews but honestly, he’s such a chill guy
If you’re a couple on a budget or a solo traveler this a great spot to base out of for Skye
He has some house rules but so would anyone who’s opening their home to travelers. Overall would recommend , got what I paid for

Cons:

Out of all the things, I wasn’t a fan of the springy bed
But I was so tired from hiking and driving I’d sleep on a hard wood floor

Room very small with NO storage and limited breakfast options
Pros:

Location is excellent

Cons:

Room is very tiny. Absolutely NO storage, not even a shelf. Coat hooks positioned over the foldaway table that held tea (no coffee) making facility. Hooks should be behind or to the side of the door.
No milk, no fridge. A chest of drawers would provide both a storage facility and also serve as a better platform for drinks making.
No fruit juice option at breakfast, nor anything cooked (unless you bought and cooked it yourself).
Price for the room, whilst more or less in keeping with all the rest of overpriced Skye, is way more expensive than it should be considering you get limited breakfast options and the state of the room.

Pros:

Noi avevamo il bagno in camera, compatto ma curato. Anche la stanza era pulita e confortevole. Gli spazi comuni erano ok e la colazione comprendeva: pane, marmellate, cereali e caffé. All'entrata ci si toglie le scarpe in uno spazio apposito e la struttura fornisce delle ciabatte di cortesia in caso di bisogno. Ci sono degli orari di silenzio da rispettare per il rispetto di tutti e sono indicati adeguatamente. Il proprietario si è visto poco ma è stato cordiale.

Cons:

in realtà l'unica cosa che mi viene in mente è che a noi è bastata a pelo la carta igienica fornita ma se ce ne serviva dell'altra non sapevamo bene a chi e come chiederla.

Meglio cambiare tappa!! Se si vuole stare a Portree questo alloggio è una buon soluzione!
Pros:

Graditissima la sorpresa della colazione (non menzionata nella prenotazione ma comunque ricca e self-service). Gentile l’host, che ci ha atteso con flessibilità per il late check-out.

Cons:

Camera decisamente molto piccola (nessun armadio o mobile, giusto lo spazio per passare attorno al letto).
Il costo della camera è sicuramente eccessivo per la struttura ma il problema non è di questo host (gentile e disponibile), è di Portree. Paesino nemmeno tra i più belli delle highlands con prezzi molto sopra la media del territorio, affollatissimo di turisti. Il consiglio è di cambiare propria meta, se invece si vuole stare assolutamente a Portree (…), questa è una buona alternativa per la notte!
