Meglio cambiare tappa!! Se si vuole stare a Portree questo alloggio è una buon soluzione!
Pros:

Graditissima la sorpresa della colazione (non menzionata nella prenotazione ma comunque ricca e self-service). Gentile l’host, che ci ha atteso con flessibilità per il late check-out.

Cons:

Camera decisamente molto piccola (nessun armadio o mobile, giusto lo spazio per passare attorno al letto).
Il costo della camera è sicuramente eccessivo per la struttura ma il problema non è di questo host (gentile e disponibile), è di Portree. Paesino nemmeno tra i più belli delle highlands con prezzi molto sopra la media del territorio, affollatissimo di turisti. Il consiglio è di cambiare propria meta, se invece si vuole stare assolutamente a Portree (…), questa è una buona alternativa per la notte!

Innanzitutto sarebbe opportuno segnalare nella descrizione che la struttura affitta camere e non l’intera casa. le foto sono ingannevoli. Abbiamo prenotato 3 stanze, solo in una delle tre c’era lo spazio per poter aprire la valigia, in nessuna stanza c’erano armadi; una delle stanze aveva il bagno esterno alla camera, un’altra stanza aveva ragni e ragnatele. I lavandini nei bagni erano minuscoli, una delle nostre stanze affacciava sulla strada e perciò non avevamo privacy. C’erano altri ospiti nella struttura con cui condividere la cucina nella quale non c’erano abbastanza tavoli e sedie.

Pros:

Struttura molto pulita e accogliente, la disponibilità e la gentilezza del proprietario è stata davvero eccezionale, ci ha lasciato a disposizione la colazione e la cucina pur non essendo comprese nella prenotazione..

L'isola di Skye è da sogno!
Pros:

Posizione ideale per conoscere a fondo l'area di Portree.
Al mattino vari alimenti messi a disposizione per fare colazione (Confetture di frutta, toast, vari tipi di cereali...)

Cons:

La camera piccolissima senza neanche una sedia dove appoggiare qualcosa. Abbiamo dovuto tenere la valigia chiusa a terra altrimenti manco si riusciva a passare. Inoltre il bagno è veramente piccolo!

Les essentiels du petit déjeuner sont offerts (céréales, pain)

Cons:

Chambre et salle de bain avec des marques de moisissure, une humidité ambiante constante qui s’infiltre dans les valises. Des murs très fins et on entend beaucoup les voisins de chambres. L’Odeur des draps de renfermés.

Location is good but that where it ends
Pros:

The location was good just being a short walk from the Main Street. Unfortunately that was the only good thing in this accommodation.

Cons:

The room was full of mould, and it appeared that the mould had not been properly cleaned or treated before simply being painted over. This meant that mould spores were still present and could potentially be breathed in, which was very concerning.
There were also letters and notices around the house saying to “make yourself at home”, but at the same time, the host imposed specific times during which the kitchen could be used. This made it difficult to actually feel comfortable or at home during the stay, as we felt restricted in how and when we could use the facilities. Host was not warm and friendly.
