Отличный уютный уголок старого Сплита рядом с историческим центром.
Pros:

Путешествуя по Хорватии, остановилась в прекрасном Сплите. Я бронировала комнату Room Leon. Очень внимательный хозяин заранее интересовался временем моего приезда. Комната оставила очень приятное впечатление. Находится недалеко от исторического центра. Легко найти самостоятельно, т.к. такси не везде доберется в узких улочках. Комната на первом этаже, вход с улицы. Всё заявленное присутствовало: телевизор, холодильник, чайник, фен, все удобства. Для одного человека - довольно комфортно. Мне понравилось. Благодарю Найджела от всей души за внимание и уют!

Cons:

Всё устроило. Комната крошечная, и наверное, двоим было бы тесно.

Le décor, l’accueil, l’hospitalité, les petites attentions (la nourriture, les brochures), l’emplacement idéal

Cons:

La connexion wifi qui pouvait bugger par moment, pouvait par moment être petit pour pouvoir bien se déplacer pour deux personnes. Mais ce ne sont que des détails, tout a été quasiment parfait et on aurait voulu y rester plus.

Pros:

È a due passi dal centro ma in una zona tranquilla.

Cons:

L'appartamento ha un'odore di chiuso terribile che si sente tantissimo anche con le finestre aperte.
È veramente molto molto piccolo, sconsigliato a chi ha la claustrofobia.

Pros:

La stanza è in una posizione ottimale, da cui è facile raggiungere il centro ed il porto in pochi minuti a piedi. Inoltre, abbiamo apprezzato la grande disponibilità e gentilezza di Nigel – sempre pronto a rispondere ai messaggi su Booking e a darci un’accoglienza calorosa a tarda ora (molto graditi i due shot di amaretto) e a fornirci utili indicazioni per le escursioni e le principali attrazioni della città, con tanto di locandine e depliant ecc...
Infine, vi erano molti asciugamani puliti, sufficiente carta igienica, microonde e phon.

Cons:

Le criticità principali sono state molteplici, ma la più grave in assoluto è stata la fortissima umidità e l’odore persistente di muffa, avvertibile sin dal primo momento sia nella stanza che, in modo ancora più marcato, nel bagno. L’aria era talmente pesante che siamo stati costretti a tenere la finestra sempre aperta, anche quando pioveva, pur di rendere respirabile l’ambiente. In più di un’occasione, l’odore era così intenso da svegliarci durante la notte e, tutt'ora, abbiamo un pizzicore in gola. Onestamente, questa condizione rende difficile consigliare la struttura per soggiorni di più giorni.
Inoltre, la stanza era davvero troppo piccola, al limite della vivibilità, soprattutto se si viaggia in due con bagagli; il cucinino non era utilizzabile, perché il gas non funzionava. È vero che non era specificato che fosse attivo, ma la dicitura “cucina” ci aveva fatto giustamente presumere che fosse funzionante; i letti molto scomodi, che si affossavano centralmente, ed i cuscini non ne parliamo, sembravano fatti di carta. Peraltro, le lenzuola (strano, viste le molte recensioni positive in merito alla pulizia) erano un po' sporche, cosa che lascia perplessi in termini di igiene; la doccia aveva una buca nel piatto, potenzialmente pericolosa, con il rischio concreto di farsi male scivolando. Infine, cosa che, però, già sapevamo, non c'era neppure uno stendino per panni e/o teli, ma questo appunto lo sapevamo.
In sintesi: la buona volontà dell’host non compensa condizioni abitative che, almeno nel nostro caso, non erano accettabili, soprattutto per chi soffre di allergie o è sensibile a muffa e umidità. Un peccato, perché con qualche intervento serio si potrebbe rendere la stanza decisamente più accogliente.

Cozy place
Pros:

The room was very cozy and the location perfect. I was greeted by the host who was very kind and left a list of places I could visit or restaurants to try. The room itself was very quiet and cool, and I was able to sleep with the window open, not needing AC.

Cons:

The ventilation in the bathroom is not great and the towels don't dry that much. The wifi could be better as well.

Pros:

Nigel was extremely helpful and kind. We arrived after midnight, he waited outside for us to welcome us. Nigel stored our suitcase after check out, which was very helpful. We have received many tips for food, beaches, culture or local transport. The apparent is in great location, close to the centre and 15 - 20 minutes to the beach. We hired the Next bikes which were parked close by. The apartment is also quiet, off the main street.

Lovely host, brilliant location, bad WiFi
Pros:

The host was really lovely, he was very friendly when greeting us & spent a lot of time speaking with us about activities as well as places nearby for food and other recommendations. The host supplied English tea (I have really missed this while travelling Europe) and knowing how happy I was to have some he even delivered more for us at a later date! The location was also perfect, a short walk from everything that we personally wanted to do and see.

Cons:

The shower was a little small however it did the job! The WiFi was not great, normally I wouldn’t complain however as myself and my partner are currently travelling we are always catching up with loved ones & unfortunately I had no service either to use mobile data.

Pros:

We were received with a drink by the host. He spend few minutes with us to explain the place and the good spots around (restaurant, parking, buses, beaches, etc) with a map.
Big fridge with orange juice, milk and wine.
Quiet area but close to everything.

Cons:

Really small shower.

The location was exceptional, near everything you could want. The staff was really kind and gave us lots of advice on where to eat and what beaches were good!!
