Staying at Demank House was a warm and pleasant experience from the moment I arrived. The environment is quiet, clean, and truly feels like home, allowing me to rest comfortably throughout my stay. The host is friendly, responsive, and always ready to assist with anything I needed, even just directions around the area. The room was well-kept with all the essential amenities to make my stay comfortable. The location is also strategic—easy to reach local eateries, tourist spots, and nearby facilities. Overall, Demank House is a delightful place to stay and definitely worth coming back to.
All is good, everything was perfect during my stay.
Ambara was an excellent communicator and organised a late airport pickup by his brother Agus. My flight had to circle while a storm came through and so I was delayed. Agus waited and then drove late at night.
The room was simple but what I expected at this price point. Loved the hooks and other hanging space. There was even some small toothcare kits that was a nice touch (though I didn't use them). Bonus was no mozzies!

Sehr laut, man hört den Verkehr. Leider offene Wände (nur Mücken Netz). Vorhang lässt viel Licht durch, wird nicht dunkel. Heißes Wasser gab es selten.
The staff was kind as well as the host kuya ambar. The place is close to restaurants and ubud cental.
Super Unterkunft in Top Lage mit sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Gastgebern. Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis war super und Check in sehr unklompliziert. Sie haben uns sogar spontan auf Anfrage ein Shuttle zum Padangbai Hafen besorgt. Klare Empfehlung für diese Unterkunft
Einzig die Bettwäsche war zum Teil etwas dreckig und wegen der Baustellen war es etwas laut aber das hat uns nicht groß gestört, da Bali in den Ballungszentren generell laut ist.
The host family are extremely friendly and helpful with any request, whether it be regarding laundry services nearby, food, activities or any request. Additionally the air conditioning in the rooms is strong and cold as well as good hot and cold water in the bathroom. The rooms are spotless and the bed is ever comfortable! Additionally, there are many good activities and restaurants just a short walk away.

Fantastic location close to everything but on a quiet street. The room was big, the bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water. The host was super helpful in booking activities for me and arranging transport to the airport.
Really caring staff, went out of the way to help out any way they could. Room was perfect, and really loved the like table area outside the room. Also the information sheets outside the room were super helpful
The only negative thing was the noise from the street but I sleep with earplugs normally so wasn’t a huge issue!

bathroom was pretty basic but okay. the noise from the main road is quite intense so if you’re a light sleeper light be a problem
